nosey neighbour:)
just wondering what everyone's routine is regarding treadmill workouts. and how often does everyone work out. I usually do 3.5 walk and 5.0 run for about 20min in the morning on treadmill, then after work my husband and I walk/run a nature trail in our community for 20-25 min. this is 5 days per week. Just nosey about everyone else!!

I walk at 4mph for .2 miles, run 3.3 miles at 5.7 and down to 3.5 ish for a cool down for about 5 minutes.
So funny - I totally thought this post was going to be a rant about some neighbor of yours that peers into your windows when you're trying to work out... I have an odd neighbor, and I always feel like she watches me every time I come and go down the stairs.
I have to work out in the mornings to be able to stick to a schedule. I try to leave the house between 6:45 and 7am, and I jog 3.75 miles with a half mile warm up and half mile cool down added to the beginning and end of my route. I don't own a treadmill, so I jog outside. My pace ranges anywhere between 11 minute miles and 12.5 minute miles, so slow.

heeh thats what I thought it'd be about too :P
Adding to Sara and pixyz, same thought in my head.
I'll do the treadmill for at 3.5mph/0 incline for 5min, then incline up to 1.5 for 5min and then incline 5 for 5min, down to incline 2 for 5, then incline 5 again for five then incline 2 again for 5min and back and forth like that for a total of 45 mins-ish.
When I'm lazy I'll just do the above for a full 60 min stretch and head home. Lazy as in don't feel like doing all sorts of machines and stuff.
But most often I'll just do 40mins and pair it with weights, pilates, step ups and 15 min of stationary bike.

I try to do the treadmill 2-4 times a week (hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things now that my gym is open to a decent hour on the weekends again). Anyway!
1 mile at 4.5mph
.5 mi at 6.3ish mph
.5 mi at 4.0-4.5 mph
.5 mi at 6.3ish mph
(and back and forth between fast walking and jog/running for a total of 5 or 5.5 miles depending on my energy level)

i have reaaaalllllllllly long legs so anything over the speed of 4.5 has to be running. And, running at anything 5 is too weird so I usually do the following: 1-mile at 3.9 - 4.4, and then I hit the 6 and go to 3.1-miles at 6.0 - 7.3.
