A note on topics for the Weight Gain Forum: READ ME before posting!
It seems a bit obvious for me to post this, but the amount of rants, accounts and ED posts NOT RELATED to weight gain I have had to move this past few days has been silly. While this IS a forum that ED recovers can and are most welcome to make use of it can be alienating to those who are out to gain but not recovering from an ED to see topic on topic not related to weight gain.
This forum is not your personal journal nor is it specifically the "ED recovery forum". So please, post all rants, ED-related but not weight gain related topics and, basically, anything not related to gaining weight in the Health and Support forum or in your journal.
If you are battling an eating disorder but are not set on recovery, please do not post until you are. I do not ask this because I am malicious or spiteful, but rather that CC is a community that encourages healthy, sustainable weight management and someone who is not intent on recovery wholeheartedly can be very upsetting or triggering to the many here who are. If you do intend on recovering CC has lots of helpful resources stickied in the Health and Support forum to assist you if you do not know where to begin: Eating Disorders Health, Resources and Info Thread: Updated!
In turn, anyone who comes into the Weight Gain forum posting on how to LOSE weight: This forum is not intended for you to rant or complain about how you have gained a few pounds while dieting. Please use Weight Loss for this purpose, or your own journal.
And lastly, I have seen too many people offering weight loss advice to people out to gain. We do not need tactics to lose, even if your intent is well-meant. Please make sure you read the forum you are in before you post a reply to a thread. (Though this should apply to any forum you post in!)
Thankyou.
