nothing yet.....

So just got back from my doc and......nothing.  Not even dilated.  Not 1 cm!!  I have to schedule a non-stress test for friday to make sure the baby can still "fit" to get out and there's enough fluid.  Oh well.....it's back to work for me on Monday....no signs of going into labor on the subway.  Just sucks that we're in the middle of a heatwave!!!

My due date is tomorrow!

But; I only gained .5 pounds in two weeks.

Best wishes to you Vanessa! Such a trooper.... You seem so calm and collected! You're handling this a lot better than I would... Keep us posted, sounds like labor will begin on its own!

I keep checking in on you Vanessa, hoping that it happens naturally for you and bringing back the memories of my daughter who was 2 weeks late and still likes to take her time and be late for EVERYTHING!  If she is like this at 2 I can't imagine what she will be like as a teen! 

My body recovered VERY quickly after the birth of my daughter, but it was a totally natural birth, no meds, and no tearing.  I went home the next day and after a week I felt totally back to normal "down there."  I agree with shill, its different for everyone.

shill ~ you've given me hope!  I hadn't really thought about it, but I wasn't really doing any exercise prior to having my son.  Maybe that's why I didn't bounce back so fast.  At least I've been exercising this time around.  Maybe I'll have an easier time getting up and moving after this delivery.  :)

Vanessa ~ I can't believe it's almost time!  I was thinking about it today, and it seems like just the other day I was calling my family to let everyone know there was a baby on the way.  I hope we get an update from you soon, and I hope all goes well with your delivery. :)

I'm going to crack up if baby1031 is born at 1:02 eastern time.

Also extends hopes that a healthy baby girl and calm relaxed mother have finally been able to greet each other face to face in a NY Hospital.  Also hopes she wasn't a 10 pound whopper. LOL!

 LOL!  I was actually thinking about how I'm not going to be able to instantly send pictures over the internet.  I'm so addicted to being online, I think I'll go crazy when I'm in the hospital.  I don't have a laptop, so I'll be forced to stay off the computer for at least a few days.

Still praying all went well. Looks good not hearing from her.

Wonder if the delivery ended up a c-section??. I hope not, but if so it may explain the longer time without a post. Cause you know she can't live without us!  LOL!

Hi Ladies!!!!!!  She's HERE!!!  And cc won't let me upload pics of her!!!!!!

But she's so amazing and adorable and letting me sleep and I was thinking of you ALL when I was in the hospital.  I went in on Tuesday afternoon and didn't get home until yesterday afternoon!!!  I had a csection-  after about 13-14 hours of labor but it was all worth it.

First day recovery awful.  Second not so bad.  Now I feel great.  Was up walking second day and did not need any help getting out of bed on the first morning following c-section.  Nurse was amazed!

I wanted to bring my laptop to the hospital-  you ladies know me way to well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATS!!  Two CC babies in just a few days!! When you get time, give us all the stats, etc....
