What are everyone's november goals?  here are some of mine:

  • November 13, 2006 weigh 270 (would have to lose 6.4 pounds)
  • November 30, 2006 weigh in the mid 260's (260-266lbs)
If I become 269 by the end of november, i will have lost 40 pounds since my highest weight, and 20 pounds since I started calorie count!

  • Go to the gym at least 3 times a week; but be active 5 times a week (this can include grocery shopping for an hour or walking the dog for 20 minutes, or house cleaning for 30 minutes)
  • Vary exersise routines by doing classes and other machines other than just the elliptical
  • At work, drink at least one orange waterbottle
  • NO REGULAR SODAS (I only had 2 this past month, so let's whittle it down to zero!)
  • Try to reduce sodium intake per day, and up fiber intake

I want to:

  • Reach a steady 118-122 lbs
  • Exercise 5 times a week
  • Up my water, and down the energy drinks
  • Reduce sodium as well, but increase the protein
Now to find that damn gym key so I can get active as much as I would like. Nrr..
I want to:

Lose 5lbs this month.

Maintain my workout schedule (4-5 times a week)

Keep positive, the plateau is killing my motivation!!!! (3rd month 17# something) up one pound down one pound, up two pounds down one pound.

Realize my life is better because I am healthier!!!
by Dec 1
--> lose 7 pounds (same as october) and get to 173.
--> be able to do 10 pushups. and not the girl ones.

throughout November
--> drink more water
--> do 15 pushups a night (even if they are scattered)
--> do 20 situps a night
--> do at least 30min pilates every week
--> eat at least 1200 calories/day (more when i exercise)
  • Drop another 6 lbs (so my BMI will finally be in the "normal" range).  Be more consistent with the veggies and the hydration.
  • Keep up with the long trail runs after my running clinic ends in mid-month
  • Manage to do 10 five-fingertip pushups from my toes, not my knees
  • Bench press 40lbs and squat 120lbs (both on 40lb bars)
  • Continue with the workout schedule I have now, except make sure I practice my jujitsu every day I don't have class.
  • Get my yellow belt.
  • Don't spend the whole month eating leftover Halloween candy.
  • drop 9 lbs
  • drink 8 16oz bottle water
  • eat 1200/1500 a day
  • work out 3x aweek
  • walk twice a week
  • don't eat after 7pm
Only one problem thanksgiving is at my house for 40 people

- Lose 5 lbs in November.
- Eat more healthy food.
- Workout atleast 6 times a week

Btw, I have a question. Many members wanted to reduce sodium intake. What is the advantage? Any links to find more info please?

Sorry, if this is off topic for this thread.
...lose 5 or 6 more lbs before thanksgiving (wanted to lose 20 before then when I started, but would settle for 10)

...don't gain at thanksgiving

...quit smoking (my 3rd try starts tomorrow)

...lower my cals by 100 on average
>>Get into size 8 jeans!

>>Actually exercise LOL

>>Go swimming in my suimsuit that fits!!! YAAAAYYY!!!
november goals are as follows:
4 days of exercise a week
try to lose 6-7lbs by december (would put me well into the 250s)
make sure im eating 2 different veggies at least 4 times a week
lower the number of cookies i consume on a weekly basis
measure on the 7th
keep a positive attitude
remember that one day of fun won't ruin everything im working towards

should be good. here we go again!
hmmm good idea. Then I have something specific to work toward! Okay...

>>lose 7 pounds. I just picked that number randomly. Sounds reasonable. :)

>>Exercise 4 times a week.

That's enough. I'm a lazy mofo. :)
Mine is super simple -
Get off the damn plateau that I'm stuck on :-)
November Goals:

  1. To get through Thanksgiving without gaining wieght
  2. Eat more vegi's (at least once a day)
  3. get to the gym 4 days a week and hike on Sundays
  4. and losing 5 lbs wouldn't hurt me any!

Fauxtograph,

Your goals look great. I think I may borrow a few;-).

I am currently at 223, and just signed up for calorie-count.com today. I want to be 215 by November 30, a loss of 8 pounds. In order to get there I'll:

  • Work out at least 3 times a week, whether at the gym or on a trail; but be active 5 times a week
  • Drink at least one 64 oz. bottle of water
  • For this first month, only drink water and gatorade
  • Try to reduce sodium intake per day, and up fiber intake
By November 30th, I'd like to:

1.  have lost 8 pounds, so I'm @ 200 (208 now).

2.  lower sodium intake/up fiber intake

3.  drink more water!

:)
By Month end:

Lose up to 9lbs

Be able to get into my "14's"

Drop the nightime snacking

find some routine to my crazy life
