Feb 3rd Weigh In POST will close Feb 5th @ 11:59pm!
All member's who have joined and haven't posted at least two one weigh in will be removed from an active team and place on an inactive team. We have about 2-3 members on each team that haven't posted their weigh in's since we have started. Once those team members who are non participants are place in inactive status we will continue as usually with the challenge but there will be less memebers on each team and I will try to make sure each team has the same amount of members!
I still haven't received EVERYONE'S before photo! PLEASE SEND ASAP! NO OFFSENSIVE PHOTO'S PLEASE!

This week was baaad. TTOM, lots of overeating. Brownies killed me. But I'm just glad I didn't gain.
Hi There All! Still not doing very well. I think I'm doing ok by not eating excessively, yet when I check, it's repeatedely been too much. I will eat like twice a day, heavy calorie, and think that so little must mean no gain. WRONG!!! I'm doing better at moving around, but not with the intake of calorie's. Sorry team. I will try harder this week and make everyone proud.

I'm liking the excercising that I'm starting to input daily. It makes me feel better and not so hungry. I just keep hitting the "plateau" and I get frustrated and want to say $%*# it! I will try harder.

Two Saturdays ago I took my LSAT (test to get into law school) and besides all the stress from that, basically all hell broke loose at my house. I got a terrible case of hives, that I had to see several doctors for and was put on steroids two separate times! I'm still on them, tomorrow being my last day, with other anti-histamines and topical stuff as well, I've been a mess with that. It's made me so much hungrier and for awhile I just felt pretty terrible so I wasn't getting to the gym either.
Then on top of that my mom had just had surgery, and they had found some cysts, with abnormal blood-work as well, so that was another big concern. But, so very thankfully as of yesterday she was cleared by all of her doctors and it seems as though it was just a scare. So I guess I just wanted to give a heads up why I was missing for so long and hopefully get some motivation to get back on the wagon. At this point I know it's unlikely that I'll make my mini-goal but I'd like to at least start getting back on track and loosing instead of gaining! Any advice/help for getting back on track would be appreciated!!!
Hi xzcandizx. I'm new to the forum but wanted to reply to your post bc I can identify. I'm an attorney and I remember how stressful it was applying to law school, picking a school, and then getting through it!!!! I just wanted to tell you to believe in yourself. If you want to go to law school, you will do it! Don't let the tests and all the hype psyche you out. (And, by the way, I'm a big advocate of NOT going to law school. A lot of people do it because they don't know what else to do -- but its a very demanding profession, and you should feel comfortable that you've thought through all the factors and decided its what you really want.) If you ever want to talk about law-school or career-related stuff, please feel free to email me.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom, but so gald that she was cleared by her doctors!!!
As for getting back on track, have you ever tried yoga? I find it to be one the greatest stress relievers ever, and it can be a really good workout, too. Most classes cost around $15 on a one-time basis, but believe me it is worth every penny! It will help you to unwind and feel more peaceful, and regain the energy to focus on your weightloss goals.

- Starting Weight and date: Started at 178 pounds on Nov. 15. This week I weighed in at 172.2
- Mini-Goal Weight-Loss for Dec 30th: 170 lbs.
- Mini-Goal Weight-Loss for Feb 17th: 163 lbs.
- ULTIMATE Goal Weight: 155 lbs.
- Weight-Loss Plan: CC and increasing exercise to at least 30 min/5 days per week.
- Food Weakness: CHEESE!
Good Morning All! This week was much better in the calorie department and less better in the excercise area. Last night we went to a Christmas party and I did very well with all the hor deorves? whatever, but they were very good. Only one helping of them. Then lots of Iced Tea and coffee. When Dinner came, I had a New York Strip, vegetables and Rosemary Potatoes. The Potatoes were really good, and i could actually count how many were on the plate! What killed me was the dessert. Of course I couldn't turn it down. Turtle Pie. Not a tradtional one either. IT was like eating a chocolate bar with butter! So good. I ate 3/4 of it. Tomorrow is my birthday and we are going out for dinner. I will do very well then.
