  • Keep going!
  • Run atleast 4 times a week
  • Up mileage to 5 miles by end of november
  • Dont stress about small mistakes or numbers..
  • Focus on living healthy and learn to be comfortable in my skin
  • Look to the future and not the past

  • Log my food daily
  • Exercise minimum of 3 times a week
  • Keep a positive attitude
  • Refrain from jumping on the scales daily
  • Get enough sleep
  • Beat the emotional eating cycle

  • Very little alcohol
  • Continue exercising
  • Lose 4-6 pounds

oh man, october went horribly. i have a few.

  • workout 4-5 times a week
  • log food on CC everyday
  • try to be healthy as opposed to eating to lose weight
  • have ONE cheat day (nov. 12) when i don't count at all
  • look at my body in a good way (damn, i'm not even fat and i beat myself up ALL THE TIME... i'm sick of it)
  • be happy! i have everything going for me right now!

Cool good luck everyone! we can do this, we are strong.

i hope to be binge free for at least two weeks!!!!

Hey all!

In November, I too want to incorporate running into my daily workout.  Thus far I have been speed walking and have lost about 20'sum lbs so far. I have reached a plateau so now is just as good a time as any to run run run...!!!

I also want to start logging my food intake,

Not have any cheating days.

And lose 10 more lbs in the month of November. (I have a cruise to attend beginning the 21st of Nov.) I'm very excited.

During Thanksgiving I want to practice CONTROL and not over do it just because all that food is there in sight.  I will be seeing family members that I have not seen in a few months so now is my time to shine!

After Thanksgiving I want to stay on track too.

Great idea!  Here are my goals....

  • Be able to run a mile by Nov. 1st (LAME, I know)
  • Maintain my weight at 117/118 and come to grips that my body just may never want to be at 115.
  • Exercise 5 days/week for 60+ minutes
  • Drink, in moderation, on weekends only.
  • NO CHEAT DAYS.  I tend to go overboard and my stomach despises me the next day.
  • Try to stay as dairy free as possible.
  • increase work out to 4x per week
  • drop about 6 pounds
  • cut back on the coffee:( not going too well
  • eat more veggies
  • sleep more :))
  • increase my reps/bar bell weights
  • start soing sprinting exercises

not exceed my calories

keep on track on my maintenance day

lose 6-8 pounds

not over indulge on thanksgiving

drink more water

do my yoga every day

feel better!

like many others...drink more water!

no ice cream from the grocery store

long walk three times a week minimum

no cheating during thirty day shred

positive attitude...about my diet and work

Hey everyone!

Here's to a great month! Last month was AWFUL! Here's what I'm improving on starting NOW!

  • Drink more water
  • Keep within my calorie count every single day (I dont know if I did it more than 3 times last month ugh!)
  • Weigh in with my groups ON TIME!
  • Lose 5 pounds by start of December, and 5 more by Christmas! WOOHOO!

and here's the finale folks...something I have yet to EVER do for a month....GIVE UP SWEETS! THATS RIGHT! I'M GOING FOR THE GOLD! The only exception will be one sweet on Thanksgiving Day.  THATS IT. Cold TURKEY! I'm excited!

We can totally do this guys, I know so! Please, anyone who is excited like me, hold me accountable! If anyone wants to be November buddies, let me know.

KEEP MOTIVATED:

Always be in a challenge ie: weight loss, exercise.

Keep it interesting: new DVDs, new skills/sports, more weight (on the bars).

More cardio.

30 Day Shred Challenge participant.

For me also October was a waste of time, and I'm very disappointed with myself. I don't want to feel like this again next month so it's time to pick myself up so I start December looking slim and healthy! My goals:

- To realise one slip up does NOT mean I have to binge

- To eat healthily, especially in the evening

- To up my protein levels

- To exercise more and breathe deeply in that fresh air!

- To lose 6lbs by Dec 1 (then I will be 136.5 lbs)

- To try and think positively about my health, my diet and my body

November 1st was the start of my weight loss journey.. or getting back on the wagon I should say so this month I hope to...

  • Lose 10lbs
  • Exercise 5 times a week
  • Eat healthier
  • Limit the number of times I eat out to once a week
  • Stay on task!

october was awful! this month i want to:

  • exercise 5 times per week
  • not go over my calorie limit
  • not eat too much on thanksgiving
  • lose 5-6 pounds
  • eat less carbs and more protein
  • get enough sleep each night

October sucked for me too:

  • eat under 500 cals aday
  • exercise at least a little bit everyday
  • try to keep losing at least a pound a day
  • Go on a few three day water fast to increase to 2 lbs aday
  • be at 140 by the end of the month (im 170 now)

Good Luck everyone ^_^

Stop drinking capucinos. I have gotten addicted to them at school, and its a bad habit. That, and actually stick to my regular goals.

Do you mean, have a deficit of 500 cals per day, or are you planning to actually eat less than 500 calories every day? Because if that's the case, I want to discourage you to do that since its extremely unhealthy, and I'm sure that other people here will agree with me on that.

mary- I totally agree with you..

marissa- not only is 500 cals a day ENTIRELY too little food but it's going to be just about impossible to lose 30 pounds in the next 3 weeks... A healthy weight loss is about 1-2 lbs a week so if you just started, you might be able to add a 3 lb water-weight loss taking you to roughly 6 pounds this month.. Slow and steady wins this race :) By doing this extreme dieting you are setting your body up for failure and risking your health. Hopefully a moderator will jump in soon and give you the lowdown of cc's rules and regs.. Trust me, you don't have to do anything crazy to lose weight.. just be patient :)

on another note... first week of November is almost over and I was just curious to see how everyone's resolutions are going :) All right over here... Doing okay with cutting alcohol and reaching my deficit goals..
