Welcome to the **November** Challenge!

If you’ve participated before, welcome back for another month! To all those who have not done this challenge (or any other) welcome aboard newcomers!
If you are new, please tag this thread so that you can find your way back in the future.

The challenge is pretty easy & does NOT require a long-term commitment. You pick a goal weight, and post your progress each week. You are NOT in competition with the other challengers—in fact, you are encouraged to cheer each other on. This is about having a reason to stay motivated throughout the month’s weight loss journey and having a place to post your progress to help you stay on track--some "extra" accountability for your actions because you know you aren't the only one who will "see" the results.

We'll have 4 weekly weigh-ins in November plus the start. Our weekly weigh-in dates are November 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2009 for final weigh in.

Weigh-in days are changed to Sunday coinciding with the first of the month. If you want to change the day, please let me know. If you weigh a different day for some specific reason, do so, but please report it on Sunday for statistical purposes of this thread. Thanks.

Normally, spreadsheet results will be posted by within 24 hours after weigh in date but for this month it will be 2-3 days and will appear as a link at the bottom of this page.

I've struggled miserably with weight loss this past month. Lots of loss (at least 4 lbs) then gaining it back again due to the water weight gained (darn the TOM-it came 2x for me last month). With Halloween and Thanksgiving coming around the corner, I do hope I lose and not just maintain. This weekly postings help in keeping me accountable so I don't fall off the wagon - lol :)

Just had my 2nd daughter on 9.18.09.  The day before she was born I weighed in at 218 which is the highest I've ever weighed and I was absolutely devastated.  So far I've lost about 30lbs, I'll weigh in tomorrow for an exact number. 

We're cloth diapering both of our daughters and I love buying new diapers for them (weird, I know!) so my husband has told me for every 10 I lose I can buy 3 diapers.  :)  So at 180 I get to place my first motivational order!  I'm hoping to hit it this month!!

Had 2 bad days in a row, so my scale showed 2 pounds more then on thursday...I hope it's water retention. Anyways, I'll do extra hard this week, so I hope I'll be bellow 180 for the next weigh-in

I guess water weight is unavoidable at that time of month. But I wentdown 2lbs not bad. So let's try again. My goal is to work out 3 times a wk and lay off potato chips. sweets is never an issue for me, but those chips get me.

The past few days the weight has been creeping on, and I've been eating well! I drank almost 100 ounces of water today but the scale still shows a gain. I definitely binged last night, but today is a new day. I'm determined to make my goal this month!

i am back down to my lowest weight from last year when i was doing well on weight loss, before i slipped up and gained it all back rapidly. i'm ready to get into normal-bmi land! i'm so close!

etting back "on the wagon" - have been struggling with problems from my WLS, as well as stress and depression from my "empty nest" experience in September, and more. This is my life and, one year ago today, I pledged to make it better. I did so for a while, then sabotaged myself, so today, I am retaking that pledge to myself. Hopefully, one year from now, I will be able to look back on the year with pride.
