Going Nowhere

Quote  |  Reply

I really haven't seen much progress since I started in September I weighed in at 194 and since then I am 192 that is over 4 weeks ago. I am meeting my Kcalorie intake  but it seems like my body is resisting progress. I recently starting to jog for an hour each day. This has just got a little bit more challenging. Is anyone else having this problem.

P.S.

When ever I eat less than my Kcalorie requirement I get really bad hunger pains so I have another meal.

thedreamerz,

Yes, you are not alone, I started calorie counting two weeks ago, I have stuck to my plan, my average intake over two weeks is 1250 calories. My burn rate is supposedly 1740, meaning a daily deficit of 500 cals, however Ihave only lost one pound. I am not exercising much because i wanted to get used to eating at this calorie level before i added work outs. I always get hungry when I exercise. I am getting a good education though, its great to see how many calories are in the foods we eat! I am sticking with it , and i hope you do the same, I've tried tons of diets and this is the only thing that seems to make sense. I am hoping to see results in a few weeks.

Good luck, and keep it up!

Keep with it! The longer it takes to take off, the longer it will stay off (I know that's probably not what you want to hear :)). It took me at least a few months to see lasting results when I first started losing.

Also, if you're jogging an hour a day, you're probably putting on muscle.

Seriously, don't give up. I feel like most people give up right when a breakthrough is about to happen! Good luck!
