, why not buy several Lean Cuisines or Healthy Choice meals and do it on your own?

That is what I did from January to May. it really worked out well for me. I did lose, but the sodium was rediculous between the soups, the meals and everything else I ate I was hovering over 3000 mg sodium a day. im lucky to get 1500 on nutrisystems.

in my area, and im in a small town. my husband and I calculated the money we were spending on lean cuisine and healthy choice for me, it was about the same and that was eating 2 of those a day every day. plus the cost of regular food that you eat.

if you want to do it, do it. it don't mean your going to gain your weight back automatically if you go off it. its all up to YOU whether you do or not, I DARE say. no ones going to force food down your throat... well hopefully.

if someones doing good on it GOOD FOR YOU!! I know *I* am and have had far better results with 1 month of Nutrisystems compared to the few months I was on store purchased meals...and I started at nearly 400 lbs in January, so this is coming from a sedentary person who could barely move and had a best friend named food. It wasn't some genetic disorder it was me having to eat too dang much.

im down to where my goal is attainable by December 31st to be UNDER 300 lbs

just if your DOING it, whatever that may be ..don't let anyone tell you, you CAN'T do it!

I just wanted to say that a friend of mine went from a size 10 to a size 6 and the scale didn't move at all for her. she's been on TV for the FIRM.. she works out ALOT, so just coz the scale aint budging if your working out..try measuring inches instead :) my scale isnt budging hardly at all this month & im on Nutrisystems and I work out a great deal, but I look like someone shot about 55 bb guns at my stomach and captured it on camera when the pellets fell but the indents were still there!

I did it back in the eighties... the food was fair, and very expensive!  I only got a small amout of food that was not filling so not only did I eat this food but then I would eat other food as well.  It didn't work for me.  The "YOU" diet and Weight Watchers "core" diet, have been the only diets that have worked for me that didn't leave me starving and feeling deprived.  And that I learned new habits that have helped me to keep it off.

Well, I guess NutriSystem really did work for me since I lost 30 lbs...and maybe I'm crazy but some of the food I thought was REALLY GOOD!!!  Like the meatloaf and mashed potatoes - wow - that was awesome - I also loved the fettuccini with spinach, and pretty much any of the italian foods.  I also LOVED the ministrone soup...just cause I put the weight back on doesn't mean you will...I thought of doing it again, in fact my husband was all for it, but I just couldn't do it...I worry that I'd gain it back like I did last time.  If you are looking for Nutrisystem support try the NS website - the people on there are amazing and so supportive...I really liked their website.  Good luck whatever you decide!

Before Nutrisystem:  The above represents the last two years since joining Calorie-Count .com. If I can stop the upward trend and go lower, it's a triumph!

Now I am down 3 lbs, and am exercising alot, too.  In fact, tomorrow's weight may be lower than today's, I exercised last night, but muscle tends to hold water after exercise, so it's not a proper weight.  Still, 1 lb a week is a reasonable goal - I'll just stick with it!  Maybe I'll be at goal in August.

Likewise what you said, since I exercise alot, I don't expect the scale to reflect the good internal things going on all the time.
