all is well from my perspective!! keep it up!!

The benchmarks for a balanced diet are usually..... 40-65% carbohydrate, 25-30% fats, 15-25% protein.  Sugar should be <50g, sodium <2400mg and fibre >25g.

Those are good working averages  and if you're getting close to them, you're doing very well.

GI Jane, I get way more than 50g a sugar a day. I eat three pieces of fruit a day. And my sodium might go over, too. The thing is I eat very very healthy. I don't know how to reduce my sodium and sugar intake without reducing my caloric intake. I eat close to 3000 calories a day, and I really do need that much (I'm still losing weight on 3000 calories a day).

HI...new here and still trying to figure out the site works. How does one SEE all of that nutritional breakdown info in their food log? All I see are the "grades" for my food choices and the total calories. But I don't see my fat/carbs etc.

Is it possible to see all of it in my food log? And if so, how?

Thanks,

Art Blossoms

JCL - from what I've gathered, the 50g sugar actually refers to added sugars throughout the day - you know in coffee, sugared cereals, etc.  Fruit sugars are pefectly healthy and its not really something you have to worry about.
