I'm in OA. Is that alright with Calorie Count?
Keeping food logs and counting calories is completely compatible with OA.
Overeaters Anonymous (OA) advocates abstinence in-between three regular meals a day. The program encourages members to adopt a plan of eating, but it does not endorse any specific meal plan. Some OA members advise against eating sugar and foods made of white flour, but that is not a part of the OA philosophy. OA is based on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. It focuses on physical, emotional and spiritual healing through meeting attendance, sponsorship, reading, writing, and service to others.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
