Oatmeal as a snack?

Quote  |  Reply

I've been craving oatmeal and didn't have it for breakfeast. Is it okay to have it as a snack? it satisfied my hunger and is very nutritious. Is this okay or is it better to have something else? please reply!

Thanks and good luck all!

Personally and this is just my personal opinion...if the oatmeal satisified your hunger and it was just a snack, in other words, not a full fledged portion, then I don't see why it would hurt. After all, oatmeal does have lots of nutritious value.

Of course, you don't want to load it up with lots of extras such as sugar, cream or butter.  I think,  everything in moderation.

Oatmeal is good not a problem, I was told by a trainer to have oatmeal, piece of fruit, celery with some peanut butter and/or veggies like a cup or so.  I followed it a long time ago and I lost alot of weight opposed to eating McDonalds, Carne Asada and the large portions we are served at restaurants and it's cheaper. Good Luck.
