My cubicle is behind this man who has the MOST annoying laugh I have possibly ever heard. It's a laugh that if you were in the cinema with this man, you would leave half way through.. And he laughs ALOT! LOL. I only just started my job and already I am wishing I was partially deaf. This may seem harsh but oh my god its annoying LOL...
Eewww, hopefully it's like it'll be like a screaming child after you have a few kids, you just dont' hear it anymore!lol (or so I've heard, I have no kids ;)
Can you wear earplugs? That helped me when I was overwhelmed with obnoxious noise at my old job.

I worked by a girl who listened to country music and thought it would be the death of my. By obnoxious, I thought he'd done something offensive.
We have a freelancer here who has an AWFUL laugh. It's the worst. And she always comes into my office. It's like a Breathy Cackle. OMG.
I'm going to put something on the table...take it how you want to.
We only get angry/frustrated/sad/upset/happy/gleeful/elat ed because we *allow* ourselves to. It's not the thing that's making you angry, more the fact that we've *allowed* ourselves to get angry (or whatever emotion you're feeling).
However,
If it's making you that upset where you post a thread about it....on the internet....and that's your biggest issue with work..then I'd say you're doing pretty good.
My boss' office is right next to mine and I always hear him in there clipping his finger nails, ewwww, and he's whistling all the time
OMG, the sound of someone clipping their nails is to me what fingernails on a chalkboard are to most people! AAAAGHHHH.
MY two bosses talk very loudly all the time. Many times, when I'm on the phone at my desk, one of them will walk into my office to look in a file or something while they're on their cell - and they talk so loud that I can't hear the person I'm talking to on the phone!!! Makes me want to scream.

That sucks really bad, my advice if you can litsen to music. Bring your Ipod to work. I don't have any obnoxious co-workers. I work at Hollister so everyone is cool there :D
