Big holidays are approaching fast so we must use all the time we have to get in shape before the holiday rush begins.
Read the rules before you sign up.
RULES
- You declare your weight on or around 1st October (CSW) and your goal weight for the 31st October (CGW).
- Every week (normally Friday or Monday) you write a new post with your then current weight (CW), and repeat your CSW and your CGW.
- Last weigh-in will take place on the 31st October-1st November.
- Anyone who has not posted in the last week of the Challenge, i.e. 24th October - 1st November, will be deemed to have left the Challenge and will not be included in the final count.
- We don't need to know your orignial starting weight or your ultimate goal weight. Feel free to include those for the record but for the purpose of this challenge we only need to know your starting weight and your goal weight for this month!
- What should be your goal weight:for newbies recommended weight loss is about 2lb a week. Everyone else can set up their own CGW based on previous experience.
Abbreviations mean:
CSW - Challenge Start Weight (please repeat this at each weekly update)
CGW - Challenge Goal Weight (please repeat this at each weekly update)
CW - current weight
Winners - those who met or exceeded their declared CGW.
Biggest Loser - self-explanatory

Not near my goal and I doubt I will make it (even though I did last week lol) But I am still proud of myself for keeping the weight down since I have been too busy to work out. I've officially lost 20lbs (I so realised just now when seeing my goal weight hehe) and that in itself is pretty cool even though it has been a slow trek. I'm hoping to get onto a decent descent rate soon :D

Almost made my goal. measly 2lb scuttled me. My own fault cos I slacked off this last week and got lazy.
Overall challenge weight loss: 14lb. +2 from goal. :(

Ok, so i missed my goal weight by 2.9 kgs (6.4 lbs). I will blame it on being overambitious (lol). however, on a POSITIVE NOTE, i lost 7.3 kgs (16.1 lbs)! That gives an average of plus minus 4 lbs loss every week! NOT BAD AT ALL :) yes i did all that THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENED ME! Thank U LORD! And thank U VFT for starting this thread & motivating us! Finally thank U everybody, i feel so blessed to have walked this journey alongside U guys!

SO i'm over 10 lbs off my ridiculous goal weight but i've lost 8.4lbs overall which is great :)
i'm continuing this weight loss journey in my Get skinny November Challenge and if any of you would like to join the rest of us who are determined to beat the battle of the 'christmas bulge' come and join us!!!!!! The challenge starts from tomorrow and it's going be just as fabulous as this one was!!! thank you vft for the October Challenge! It was the first challenge i've ever done and all the support and motivation that the challenge gave me was HUGE!!!!
