Welcome one and all! This challenge is a 4th quarter challenge for the year 2009. Anyone can join and there are no rules, except pick a day that is good for you to Weigh in Consistently. Don't worry, if you miss a few. The key here is to log at least once a week.
We have a small group of people that have been doing this since the April 1st challenge that I started, so I welcome you all back and wish you the best of luck this time around!

I just had a small setback and hopefully this group can get me back on track. I would love to be at my goal weight by the end of 2009! I am about 14 lbs away right now. I'll weigh in on Fridays. I'm going to count this Friday as the end of week 1 because I am eager to get started!

Hi to all of the newcomers signed in. Good luck on your weight loss journey. I know how hard it is, it seems the first few lbs. come off fast then everything slows down. I weighed in this am at 211, hoped to be 210 but I am not so looking for 210 next Friday. Getting cooler up here in Western NY now so the outside activities will be slowing down and not so much natural exercise. I am here praying and supporting each of you every day, keep up the good work. Learn to hear God whisper to you when you Reach for that extra food.

Okay I am in.....
Ugh, so I went MIA last challenge because I've been so stressed and I didn't want to fess up to myself all the damage I had done with stress eating... I went on the scale today, and I'm hoping some of it is water weight, I really do, because it told me 145.5... when just 3 weeks ago I was 135.5.... :(

illingal - Welcome back and remember we are here for you. Stress eating is something that is common to all. Read my profile and it will direct you to a book you can read. I found it helpful and with the information I was able to loose 25 pounds. It helped me identify my triggers and what type of food I reached for and what to substitute in its place.
The rest of you guys, First of all I 'd like to apologize for not being able to be on the internet. I have been having connection problems and it has been very frustrating. I am working through it though so bare with me.
Now on the positive side of this journey we are all logging about. I have read up to this journal entry everyone's Goal weight from their starting weight and found you all to be very reasonable in your expectations. No more than 2 pounds a week. Good for all of you. That is a start! Setting realistic goals that are achievable and attainable and in the long run healthy way of loosing. Keep up that thought process and you will do fine.
Now . . . . The tip for this week: Just when you think you can't dig any further like you do in that bag of chips remember that YOU CAN DO THIS JOURNEY And forget about that bag of chips.
