Everyone is doing a great job on keeping on track with their logging. I skim through the challenge every couple of days and see if there are any tips I can give you.  One tip I'd like to give is:

Instead of saying you had a cheat day or ate something you shouldn't have. SAY YOU"VE HAD AN UNPLANNED DAY OF FOOD.  Makes it sound less negative and with no negative thoughts that you should give up because you have failed.

Also, dip your salad in dressing not pour it on top of your plate or bowl.

    Take care and God Bless.

Hi everyone, weighed in this am at 209, loss of 1 lb. slow and steady, the line on the chart shows a slow steady decrease, that is good. We have to keep in mind that it took 20+ years to put this on, we will take it off the same way.  Have a good week, Roger from Western NY.

Roger you are absolutely right.  Everyone needs to understand how long it took them to get to the point that they want to diet to get healthy and know that it won't come off over night.

Congratulations also for constantly having the line on the charts go down.

    Take care and God Bless.

I started a new exercise program this week that involves 100 minutes of exercise every day (Saturday's off). I think my body isn't very sure of what I am doing to it as I could hardly move at one point this week. I'm planning on sticking to it - we'll see what happens next week.

I kept editing my old entry, but today I had time to read your posts..... everyone is hanging on and it is great. I have giant motivation. 1. lady in the gym commented on my growing behind....grrrrr, but it worked and 2. I will be visiting my parents and they tend to be very critical....so there we go. That is reason for my current success. Bronchitis didn't help. but now I'm back doing my usual zumba cardio. Love it!

There is fire behind my butt I leave on the 10th of December!!!

I haven't posted any weight changes because there haven't been any.I have at least stopped eating in excess and have been watching what I eat, watching my ratios, portion sizes, counting when I have time. THIS week, I have finally started adding exercise back in to the game. Last week I started walking more, but this week I actually got out of bed early and started running again. That first day was embarrassingly difficult, but it is already getting easier. So far, I have seen no loss, but I am hoping to see a change on the scale this week and to get back to a gradual loss again.
