I don't really know what I am defining as ODD so use your own..

I class myself as odd for many reasons, and I like it that way, must be dull being normal :D

Yes I am.

No need to describe it to you. Those who know me round these parts, know I am, :)

Oppositional Defiant Disorder?  Had a psych teach tell me that I was oppositionally defiant.  Was just bored for the most part.  For the rest I blame on being b***hy in general.

Yes I am odd.

As I am making an effort to become more popular, it is probably better than I do not give details.

Who isn't odd?? :P

I'm sure I'm odd. Strangely odd (not that you can be ordinarily odd..).

Odd by the majorities view! it doesn't mean they aren't odd but just in a different more flock odd than odd in a individual way like us so this makes us odder than them by comparison.

loving this :D

My brain is totally not functioning at all! I was reading it as O-D-D, not the word odd and thinking: what's ODD? severe form of ADD?* Gosh.... Does that make me odd? lol.

Anyway, I do think I am odd for a lot of reasons as well. Like you said, better than being dull and normal.

I think I'd consider myself more Weird than Odd.

Weird  fits :D

I prefer the multi-syllable word eccentric.

I'm a psychology geek and was so curious as to why you were asking people if they had Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and doesn't that diagnosis only apply to children? Must look later to see what it leads to in adulthood.

So yeah, kids with ODD are creepy. They were the ones I was the least attached to when I interned in group therapy. Not that they cared, they were manipulating the other workers into eating out of their hands.

We are talking about oddity, odd for short, you know unusual, different. ;)

i read oppositional defiant disorder, too.  and i don't think those kids are creepy; i think they're interesting and challenging.  i also think ODD is more defense mechanism that true disorder.

as to the question, am i odd?  nope.  i like to surprise people by being sort-of incongruent, but i'm not odd.

Oooooh there's another multi-syllable word. Love it. I think I'll be eccentric and incongruent at the same time.

My son gave me a Tshirt that read: "You'll never figure me out." I've had more than one person tell me that shirt is perfect for me.

Odd..Hmm mostly been described as *unique.* Could be a polite term used for odd though. Lmao.

I'm either bi-polar or manic depressive...Haven't quite figured it out yet. ;)

:P

Well I'm not a Normal, that's for sure.

Yes I am and so are most of the people in my life!  It's way more interesting that way.

Depends on your view of normal. Wink

By some definition YES I am odd and proud of it.

Some say ODD can progress into APD in adulthood.

As for me, I am odd, but in a totally normal way. Or normal in an odd way, I dunno.
