I weigh 120 pounds at 5' 4" right now. I want to lose 7 pounds in 7 weeks, which would put me at 113 by Christmas! That would be GREAT. I am an athlete, as I am a dancer. I am fit and admittedly thin, but I still want to lose the weight, so please don't tell me I don't need to. I just know that it is a lot harder to lose the weight when you are smaller. If anyone could give me a plan, or at least a layout of an idea, that would be great. :)
7 lbs in 7 weeks look doable :) I know when people are like you are going to be too thin but if you can do it healthily and be in a safe range, go for it.
I just suggest zig zagging your calories because if you don't, you'll hit a plateau in few weeks.
I am totally with you on this!! 7-8 lbs by Christmas is exactly what I want too...and I know it is going to be hard with the holidays coming up! I think my plan is going to be to drink less (cut out the alcohol calories...) and try and exercise 5 days a week (currently, I aim for 5 times a week and usually only make it 3-4 times). I'd love any other tips too!
Oh Im in as well!...I weigh about 145...and wouldn't mind getting to 137/138 by christmas.
Im trying my hardest to stick to my diet...its a little difficult on the weekend though due to alcohol and late nite munchies

Santana...I am totally with you! I do pretty well Monday through Friday (which is hard working in a restaurant and sometimes not having dinner until LATE), but when it comes to the weekend--I struggle. A few drinks leads to munchies or a late night sober up snack, and its never good! I am trying to cut back on drinking, which should be a little easier now that football season is almost over! good luck to you! any other ways you all are trying to reach our goal?

I am defo up for this! i have similar stats. 117, 5 ft 3 and want 110lbs by xmas! the family get - to - gethers and the ' you look wells ' are freaking me out! the evenings are going to be my problem - live alone and tend to pick. so if there are any ways of cutting out 6pm - midnight it will be a walk in the park he he!

staggering calories is a good idea.
i need to stop eating at night or live with my boyfriend. i never binge with him. and i'm conscious about how much i eat and its not obsessive.

This sounds like my goal.... I'm 158 right now, and would love to be between 150 and 155 by Christmas, which is not very far off. (My goal, not christmas!)
When do you want to do a weigh-in?
How about Fridays? Or we could do Wednesdays because Christmas is on a Thursday this year so Christmas eve could be our goal?!

what are everyone's exercise plans for losing that last 5-7? Focus more on cardio, more on weights, or a balance? I am trying to make it to the gym 5 days a week--made 4 last week and 2 so far this week! Some days are better work outs than other, but I feel like I need a plan!
I'm in too! My weight this a.m. was 156
I am going to start swimming 2X a week and then working out (cardio or weight training or yoga?) 2 other times a week.
I eat healthy... its just those damn munchies from 7-bedtime. I am moving back in with my boyfriend (I'm away at university until Friday) and when I am living with him I dont eat so much... but our dinners tend to be heavier because he is focused on weight GAIN.
I am a teacher so its not very hard to keep my calories down during the day because I never have time to eat! Its just at night... but if I start swimming at night, that will take up my time where I cant eat!
What is everyone else's fitness goals?
