How do I get off this crazy thing called.....plateauing???
I've been at 182 since the beginning of December. I'll admit that during Winter Break I wasn't very good at exercising, but I kept a close eye on my eating and I was happy to at least maintain.
Now that the holidays are over, I've resumed my exercising and keeping my eating on track (for the most part +/- 300 calories or so) yet I've been on this plateau.
I NEED HELP!! Suggestions! Anything!
Our school nurse suggested I up my walking time from 30 to 45 minutes and decrease my eating. I'm afraid that might put my body into starvation mode. What do you guys think??
Thanks in advance!

I am in a plateau phase myself, so I'd appriciate any advice on this as well, but I had to thank you Charlotte, for the "Axe Murderer" reference! It's my favorite movie!
So how much are you eating now? Eating less won't help unless you're eating too much.
maybe for afew days try both, just to boost your body out of its slump...less eating and abit more excersice, it probably wont take much to nudge yourself out, dont worry. sometimes your body just needs a change of pace.
I'm glad someone caught my axe murderer reference! Yay!
I'm always below 1800 calories, but it's usually around 1500 or so. Mon/Wed I walk 30 minutes and on T/Th I go to the weight room for 30 minutes.
I'm wondering if it's the type of foods I'm eating rather than my total calories.
What do you guys think?
*giggles*...she make me horny...on saturday morny...that movie is flippin' hilarious!
