it's all about the fun glinda and i'm sure you'll be fine

it's just me that's weird, when it's something that looks structured i start to get all serious about it and analytical and break it down and all that.  i'd start to try and get really technical and try and reach perfection (which wouldn't happen in a beginner class if at all obviously :-) )

but with latin dancing and the like, it's just such a natural part of my everyday life and growing up with it that i don't even think twice about learning something new with it.  even though it's not latin i kinda put belly dancing in that same catagory in my brain.

not sure if imade any sense there but damn that was a long explination :-)

glin, doh! now i have to prove i can dance well..

ben - it sucks dancing with a guy who doesn't move his hips!  believe me, not fun, especially since as the girl you are semi limited in ability to lead  :-p

i think a lot of guys are afraid to move a lot in dancing, like it'll make them less manly or some crap like that

but if they only knew how freaking hot it is to dance with a guy who can move.   damn.  :-)

E and I want to take ballroom lessons before the wedding ... I think it would be fun.

Did any of you guys follow Dancing with the Stars?  

most of the people in my ballroom classes were couples about to get hitched actually.  it was really cute.  lots of fun, i had a great instructor for those classes, so sweet.  had a great instructor for the latin classes too!  i love her, she is a little ball of fire and energy!

psh, i move all over while dancing and still feel manly!

I want to take some salsa lesson or something though.

it's just something i've always loved.  been taking classes since the 1st grade and been dancing portuguese stuff since i can remember!  i'm no expert by any means or even all that great but i love it.
