Weight Loss

I only weigh myself once a month, in order to see solid trends, and avoid becoming a slave to the scale.

i weigh myself everyday. i've heard people that weigh themselves more loose *a certain number* of more pounds than others.. its actually helped..
I weigh myself once every one to two weeks. That way I can keep track of how I am progressing for my goals.
I usually have monthly and bi-monthly goals, so doing it weekly helps me to record my progress and decide what I am doing right/wrong or any changes that need to be made...
When I am at my goal weight, however, I rarely look at a scale...

every couple of days...can't resist seeing if anything is happening.
I weigh myself everyday. Like kae03 said....can't resist it. It is frustrating at times but it has been consistently going down....which is what I want. :-)
i weigh myself everyday, a couple of times a day, i may be a little obsessive, but its helped me figure out how my body fluctuates and if i'm retaining water and to see the trends a little better.
It might be a little neurotic, but I don't really go out of my way, the scales in the bathroom, so I hopon when i'm in there to see whats up. I think its helped me get more in tune with my body.

im a happy slave to the scale. i weigh myself each day upon waking after i pee. i find it to be a positive for me because it keeps me accountable and i can handle 1-2 pound fluctuations rationally so it doesn't do damage to my weight loss stamina.
Every morning, it was nice to see progress and it has motivated me to watch my sodium closer.
once a week. just to make sure i'm in the ballpark.
I used to weigh everyday when I was simply calorie counting and losing my initial 30lbs. Now I'm working out like a maniac and eating more, yet a cleaner (less fat, carbs, etc) diet, my trainer said to weigh once a week. There's no way I can gain *fat* (maybe weight- water, muscle, etc) eating/working out as I do so it actually feels good not to weigh every day. When I reach goal I'll probably weigh every few days again. But progress right now is very slow so it's less dissapointing to weigh once a week. :)
I weigh every morning and evening..
I've got so far to go stepping onto the scale every day would be too depressing. I'm on alateau now, but in the past the monthly weigh-in and seeing 6-8 pounds gone made me very happy.
Total slave to the scale here! I weigh in the PM before bed and in the AM before I get dressed. I will also hop on every now and then if I am in the dressing room and the scale is calling my name. It is interesting to see the fluctuations...
Twice a week-Wednesday and Saturday. I was weighing everyday, but found I was completely freaking out when I wouldn't notice a loss. But when I dropped to once a week and I didn't notice a difference, even when I felt like there was a difference, I freaked out more. I've been weighing twice a week for about two or three weeks now and no more freaking out. If I don't notice a loss on one day, I don't expect one on the next weigh-in day either.
I weight myself and log it here every morning. I'll also frequently step on the scale throughout the day, just to watch the fluctuations.
On top of that, I have a body fat scale, and a bodyfat hand device, so on Mon, Wed, Fri, I get out my tape measurement and measure my neck, chest, abdomen, hips, biceps, thighs and calves. Then I take the two bodyfat devices and average them out with the DOD formula using neck and abdomen. That way, I see everything.
I may be insane here, but I enjoy watching the trends. I'm able to realize that everything fluctuates a little, so I only pay attention to trends that trancend a week. So far, there's always been at least one positive change each time I've measured.
And I'm not trying for weight loss primarily. I want to be <10% bodyfat, so I'm more concerned with fat loss and muscle gain, which I can keep track of better my way.

I weigh in every day: morning, noon and night!!!
I weigh every day, morning and night.
If you weigh only once a week, you should monitor your weight daily for a couple of weeks to determine your body's cycle. I can see definite differences in the outcome depending on day of the week. If I weghed only on tuesdays or thursdays, I would show a loss every week for the last 5 weeks--but Thursday shows the best losses. If I weighed only on one of the other days, I would show some gains or plateaus.
it all comes out in the wash, but it does make for better spirits to see a weekly loss instead of a gain or a plateau.

Twice a month.
I have to weigh myself once a day to monitor fluid retention. But I only record my weight twice a month. The daily fluctuations are so large that it's only by looking at long term progress that I can see what's going on. I watch that green trend line on my weight chart very carefully.
almost every morning
every morning too. it keeps me honest so i don't overeat during the day.
