Atcually I indugled in some tonight. I was just wondering how much ice cream everyone ate cause whenever I do eat it even if it is only a half a cup I feel like a fat ass cause of all the sugar:)
As for restricted eating comment, I just like to put healthier items in my body instead of sugar filled things you know?

i love ice cream, but ever since i've been trying to lose some weight, i've switched to frozen yoghurt and i usually have about a cup whenever i feel like it, probably once or twice a week. sometimes i break down when my mom brings home marble slab though haha.
ice cream OR frozen yogurt EVERY SINGLE DAY!! my favorite. i allot about 300 calories for it on a daily basis :) today it was yellow cake batter flavor. mmmmm

Really everyday? You don't worry about the sugar inside of it? :o
I think I am just sugar crazy cause I hear about how bad it is for you.
DARKBEAM: i don't even think about the sugar content to be honest. i don't have much sugar elsewhere in my diet and i enjoy it, so i don't by any means feel "like a fat ass" especially not from eating ONE serving. that's a bit harsh and maybe overly judgmental. would you say that to a child or an elderly person getting a scoop of ice cream from baskin robbins? i bet not, maybe try to be more forgiving when it comes to the way you think of yourself. it sounds that you may be a bit overly critical.
Unfortunately, I've had Sonic sundaes twice this week. I really like the chocolate Carb Smart icecream (I think it's made by Breyer's) with a spoonful of peanut butter.

i actually like ice cream sandwiches, since they're portioned out for you.
i really like the skinny cow mint ice cream sandwhich (140 cal)
as well as Kondike 100 cal ice cream sandwiches
and lite fudgesicles (40-50 cal, depending on if generic or not) (100 cal if you want un-diet ones and wanna avoid evil sweeteners and just enjoy your portioned sugar)

Not very often at all. I used to.
If I must, it will be frozen yougurt or 1/2 cup of reduced fat or "light" ice cream. But, that's it.
I eat sugar-free Fudgsicles (40 cals each). Not the same as my favorite, Reese's peanut butter cup ice cream, but I don't want the calories.
OK, if you put a loaded gun, with the safety off, to my kneecap and made me eat ice cream...I wouldn' t mind a pint of two of Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip or whatever it is. Or, well, let's start a fight and have a dip of french vanilla and dutch chocolate or whatever chocolate it is, I have deprived myself for a long time. And was I the only person in the universe that liked licorice ice cream? I ate it twice and then it disappeared.
usually every day, if i dont eat ice cream then i have a big bar of chocolate or something lol. well and im not satissfied with eating 1 portion of ice cream, in fact usually it only irritates me

Once I start eating ice cream I can't stop because I love it so much so once every 2-3 weeks I'll go to a fancy ice cream parlor with my friends and get two scoops of whatever decadent flavor suits my fancy and I'll really enjoy it. I'll allot like 300-400 calories for it and I savor every bite. I also don't think of ice cream calories as terribly empty - they actually provide some satiety from the fat and protein so it seems to be working for me
I do not eat ice cream, but when it comes to “ treat” foods I go through phases;
Some times I will eat 500 - 1000 calories of a treat food in one day, once every 2 weeks or more…
Other times I will have a tiny bit every second day. Weird.
Once a week, usually - a bit more when I'm on vacation
