ok today this is what i ate

breakfast

banana

orange

tablespoon of yoghurt

 

THEN at work i bought chocolate licorice bullets and popcorn. and i had one handful of popcorn and one handful (quite a large handful) or licorice bullets. i really didnt want any but i ate them cos ppl think i dont eat much and so i didnt want to draw attention to me.

 

then i ate an apple

and no lunch

and then some cauliflower soup when i got home from work. it was good. my bf made it.

and i am having fish for dinner

 

WILL I PUT ON WEIGHT FROM THAT? im stressing

help help

No; in fact you are under eating and you should browse the "Health & Support" and the "Weight Loss" forums for the reasons why eating too few calories is 1) bad for weight loss and 2) bad for your health (ie, side effects include death).

I don't want to sound like your mother, but I read your post and am concerned that not only are you eating too few calories (as in practically none) and have a serious nutritional deficit (virtually no protein, calcium, nutrients, etc.) you are concerned about gaining weight when you should be concerned about the damage you are doing to your body. Honey, it's not enough food. And the fact that you only ate the candy because people are bugging you about eating and you want to look as if you are eating is the icing on the cake. You need to consider getting help. Please.  You've got your whole life ahead of you and the sooner you nip this in the butt the better.

it is very obvious that you did not eat enough for the day. not even 1200 cals. which is what you highly need...at the very least....every single day.

it is said over and over and over again on this website, and throughout, that you need 1200 cals to maintain a healthy balance in the body. skipping meals is not good practice.

don't worry, the people around you realize what you are doing is not enough, even when they see you eating something. because what you ate wasn't good either. dead substance!

i agree with feanor. take the advice, or, start making arrangements for your very own dirtbed. because that is where you will end up if you don't listen. sorry to be blunt. but you need to take your life and body more seriously, before it goes beyond your control.

That amount of food wouldn't feed a rabbit.  Starving isn't a sensible way to lose weight and you're going to make yourself really ill if you're not careful.  Why are you stressing and how much overweight are you?

im 5'7 and 111 pounds. i no i have a bit of an eating problem but i cant help it. everytime i eat normally i put on weight and i HATE my body when it is any bigger than this

You don't sound attention seeking or gay or annoying, you sound like someone who needs to go see a doctor. 

You're actually underweight, and when you eat like you did today -- ex: a Tablespoon of yogurt -- you are not going to be able to maintain your health OR stop binging.  If you go speak with a doctor or dietitian, they can give you some advice on how to change your diet so that you don't feel the need to binge. 

I thought that posts which exhibit signs of an eating disorder were prohibited?  Heaven forbid someone who is in recovery should read this and have an episode because of it.

 

The original poster needs medical attention.

'A bit of an eating problem' is an understatement.  Go see your doctor before you kill yourself.

Did you go and see a doc or anyone else like people suggested 6 months or so ago?

All of your posts are the same.  You're either a troll or you have one heck of a serious problem, maybe both.  Whatever the case may be, you should seek professional help.

When you don't eat enough calories to sustain your basal metabolism, your body goes into starvation mode. Starvation mode means the body keeps fat and burns the body's energy sources as slowly as it possibly can to keep it alive. That means, when you're in starvation mode, everything and anything you eat is not burned off right away, but actually turns right into stored energy (including fat). Also, your body will retain water, and water is heavy, making the numbers on the scale go up. So, when you don't eat enough, you can actually gain weight.

The best thing you can do, start eating a minimum of 1200 calories per day from decent sources (lean meats or other protein, fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy, whole grains, etc.), and seek professional help.
