Oh my GOODNESS Michael Jackson is DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the truly awful things happening in Hollywood lately! Augh!

I just found out that Michael Jackson has died. Of cardiac arrest. Gosh, I thought that guy was like immortal or something. Always around, hanging out on the edges of it all, you know. Like a weird odor that you grow used to. So annoying at times, and yet so familiar. When it's gone you almost miss it... :(

Brangelina are breaking up. Gosh, it's like, will Brad ever friggin' make up his mind???? Jen or Angie, Jen or Angie. Sheesh. I mean, I know that is was really low that Angie took Brad from Jen in the first place, but they are THE PERFECT COUPLE! And they have beautiful kids together! Sorry, Jen, but you gotta move on. Brad is a moron and that's just the way it's gonna be. But even though I know Brad is a moron, I definitely was NOT expecting him to be stupid enough to leave Angelina.

Sheesh. My world is turning upside down. I just HAD to get that off my chest. :(

Well, at least one thing in above post is true..M Jackson has died. The rest of the post made my head spin around in circles...leaving me confused but yet...entertained.

Gossip magazines and tabloids are ALWAYS right. It's an undisputed fact. :)

Let's see - a pop star, one in the spotlight from childhood, that led an erratic and unconventional lifestyle dies suddenly....a famous couple breaks up (hadn't heard this, BTW, other than headlines in unreliable gossip rags)....

Seems like business as usual for Hollywood.

I could care less about that couple.  I refuse to use those horrible name- mesh buzz phrases.  Horrible, horrible, horrible.

  However, I think it's sad that Michael Jackson died.  For a good long while there, he was the most influential, famous, and disputedly talented artists in the world.  Never mind the controversy.

I will not miss the freak show that was Michael Jackson.  Sure, he had some good hits in the '80's, but the guy had issues.

What value did he really bring to your life?  The guy was an entertainer.  Does that really leave a significant hole in your life?

My friends and I had loads of fun dancing to his music at parties.  Eh - I realize it doesn't amount to a hill of beans to anyone else - but I value my experiences and memories.

That being said, I agree, his departure doesn't exactly leave a "hole" in my life, just like the death of Audrey Hepburn or Gene Kelley (who are two of my all time faves) didn't.  

But then, I have a somewhat stoic reaction to death (most of the time).

This turning someones world upside down is just beyond me. Did you know any of these people? I do feel it is a shame about MJ I always feel bad when someone goes before their time but I have things going on with people I do know and care about. Getting all worked up when a stranger dies is beyond me, what will you do when someone close to you dies, crawl into a shell? Sorry if this comes off as harsh but this kind of thinking drives me up a wall. A real good freind of mine and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet died of lung cancer last night (he was 45), he never smoked. My brother and his girlfriend died in a car crash a few years ago he was 23 she was 19. I am sure I am not alone with these terrible things happening all around.  My whole point is try to concentrate on the people around you if they matter to you let them know because they may not be there to tell tomorrow. I am sorry if I came off sounding like a jerk.
