Im going to bleep bleep explode.Yell Why do certain yoghurts and healthier snack bars  tell you the calories of 150 grams of the yoghurt if its a bleep bleep 175 gram of yoghurt in the pot I have gone over my calories twice because of this I know you should check and check again to make sure of the facts as its all written down for you to read. But I cant be the only bleep bleep person whos gets it wrong, because you have checked out the big writing on the top which you read at a glance and you think oh good I can eat that, you eat it to find they have said this is for half the bar or this is for 150 grams, when its a 175 gram pot. Why do these products have misleading calories on them. They have bigger writing on them to lure you in and all the bleep bleep truth and real break down in tiny letters on a coloured background whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yell

Am I alone or has anyone else been affected maddened or annoyed with these mis leading calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to bleep scream i am soooooo mad and things dont normally get to me but when I have been so good and so controlled and losing weight successfully these brands should be marked properly clearly with no hidden rubbish. Thanks to anyone who listened I feel slightly better know I have had that rant.

Best wishes astralhippyKiss

Are you British? I don't believe I've noticed this happening in America... but I could be wrong, since I only started counting calories a few weeks ago, and might have missed this... It sounds like a somewhat deceptive marketing practice. Why would anyone eat 6/7 of the single-serving container and leave 1/7? Ridiculous. I will watch out for that sort of thing from now on. (especially if I travel to the UK)

Best wishes to you,

Joanna

Hiya ms joanna yep Im british but this product i think is american. I darnt say the product and get in trouble, the other I am not sure where its from. the other one is british. I just think it daft way of listing the calories as it is so misleading.

I hate that too.  They say the amount of calories or whatever per serving, but then fail to mention that there are actually 1.5, or 2 or even 3 servings in what you're eating, except in the nutritional information box on the back!

I've seen some products, like gourmet ice cream (Ben & Jerry's, Haagandaz (sp?)) say that they have 5+ servings per container!!  So I'll look at it and think, oh great, so I can have one spoonful in order to get the calories per serving!!

I saw on a newer bottle of coke that they had two different nutritional information boxes, and one said "Per serving (8 ounces)", and the other one said "In this bottle", or something like that, so it had both so that you didn't have to multiply the per serving info by 1.786735648 or whatever to get the information for that container.  Hopefully more companies will start to do that to eliminate the confusion.

At least it isn't so bad when the package quantity is divisible by a whole number of servings. But 6/7 of a package? Just inexcusable.

have been there too, hate the "portions" (and i am european). i like the british way that usually states it more clearly, or say how many cals are in a bottle/can
