oh...my...word
anyone? please?
Uh, where did it come from? You were probably hungry.
How do you stop this? Uh, eat smaller, filling meals throughout the day.
Follow your own advice from 5 minutes ago.
When you feel a binge coming on, distract yourself, or just pig out on grapes or brocolli.
Your limit is 2000 cals right now, right?
That probably wasn't even that much.
Eat dinner, take a walk, and feel better.
Promise yourself you'll beat binging and try eating a few small meals a day.
dont worry about it...start new tomorrow.
When I was in my 20's and early 30's I used to binge also. I ate and ate and never felt stuffed. Very strange. It wasn't until I dealt with what was eating at me that I began to heal from self abuse. My hope for you is that at some point you have the courage to deal with your emotional issues, otherwise focusing on the eating problems will just take away from focusing on what the real problems may be. . .just a thought from my personal experience. Ignore it if it doesn't fit!!!
Many experts say that the occasional higher calorie day can be a good thing for your metabolism, keep it on its toes and the fires burning.
I wouldn't worry about it-everyone has an off day, or an extra 'hungry' day.

I think i just had my biggest binge ever. I'm kinda scared. I don't want to get fat. I don't want my stomach to explode or anything either. I ate rice cakes, tyson chicken, peas, cheese, almost half of one of those HUGE tubs of coolwhip light with chocolate sauce, 3 dark chocolate Lindt truffles, and 2 huge slices of toasted italian bread with butter. Oh yes and a large spoonful of peanut butter. I haven't starved myself for over a week. (I've been eating 2000 cals a day to maintain.) Where did this come from? How can I stop it? Help.
I just read that Marlon Brando would get a five gallon tub of ice cream, mallomars, and some other junk food, put them in his boat, row out to the middle of his lagoon, and eat all of it. On a habitual basis. He did that type of thing for over 55 years.
It's always good to put things in perspective. If you think about it, your binge would probably be like dinner and a teeny dessert to him. Actually, probably he'd try eating one of us for dessert.
Tomorrow is another day. ![]()
I was typing a reply and then stopped to read yours (seekifonics) and decided just to say instead of my original post...........................WELL PUT!![]()
Perspective is everything!
Never deprive yourself too much or it makes it harder!
I just had two really bad days 4000 calories one day 3700 the next.
I am simply just not stepping on the scale for a few days, so then next time I do the pounds that I gained ill hopefully be off and then if Im the same weight I was before the binges I just totally erase the past few days from my mind and forget about them.
I just don't know its like I go into a mindless state, I dont binge cause im hungry cause yesterday I had about 1300 calories had 2 snacks and 3 meals, and I was ending the day and all of a sudden I went to the kitchen and ....yeah.
the first day I was at work (tim hortons) and on my break I had 2 small ice capps, a cheese crossant, soup with a small bun and butter, 3/4 of a bagel, and 3 timbits! like what the hell people were like holy hungry?
I guess its a way of maintaining unfortunately I still wanna lose ten, but I diet for a few days ( I lose fast on 1300-1400 calories probably 2-3 pounds in 4 days, but I also gain quickly) and then I just go ape wild and gain it back in like a day.

seekifonics that is so funny. thank you so much for posting.
from now on anytime someone posts another "OMG I BINGED TODAY" thread this should automatically pop up as a reply.
Thanks belladonna and sweetblea -- that made my work day end on a good note!! ![]()
FYI, more Brando behavior: his second wife reportedly found their previously padlocked fridge broken into and teeth marks in a wheel of cheese. The maid ratted on him (no pun intended) and said he'd raid it nightly.
Mmmm, cheese.
