Omg!!! I just fit into my skinny jeans from 3 Years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know these posts probably happen all the time, but hey we all need time to gloat! Anyone else have those YES!!!!! moments?
Well, I am still trying to fit into my skinny jeans from 10 years ago. Unfortunately, after two kids and the nature of hip stretching from these events, I'm not sure it's gonna happen. LOL. BUT...
I did put on a pair of size 12 shorts yesterday that I bought for last summer(and didn't wear) and they FIT!!!
Good for you, kiddo. Keep it up! :)
Awesome!!! Great job!!! I actually haven't gotten quite that far yet although there are a few pairs of pants I can wear now that I couldn't three years ago! Isn't it a great feeling??? You get them up to your thighs and cringe thinking please fit please fit....low and behold they go right over your bum!! :)
I was also able to buy a pair of size 14 shorts myself the other day and they don't fit too tight! That's a huge thing for me :)
Keep up the good work!

All the time! The nice thing is it doesn't take reaching your ultimate goal weight to have such moments. Even just seeing the numbers slowly decrease is a YES!!!! moment. There are lots of small victories along the way, including breaking out the old clothes until even those do not fit and you have to go buy more. :)
Great job on your success and keep it up! Every success story adds that much more motivation to those who read them. :)
Congrats!!!! You've done a great job!
I got a double yesterday...Went to Ross's, tried on a pair of size 22, (down from "laying on the bed to zip `em 28s) and they not only fit, they were only six bucks!
That's how I like to reward myself every now and then. Nothing like slipping into that prom dress that you really had no business wearing when you needed to haha
Good job!

Charleete, Congrats! That's a huge accomplishment. I am a big Ross fan, too. And an even greater fan of a deal. Hope you enjoy the pants!
The other day, I put on a skirt that I haven't even been able to pull up, much less zip and button up, and they fit, with extra room! It's a great feeling!
My girlfriend had given me a pair of Cruel Girl jeans that at the time, I could get one thigh or the other in, never both at the same time, lol. Didn't want to tell her that although I appreciated that she thought that I could fit into a size 9, I was actually squeezing myself into a 16 on a daily basis...
Yesterday, I put them on, did them up, and realized that I couldn't wear them because they cut into my hip bones! Hey, I didn't even know I had hip bones!
Sad that I won't be able to wear them, they are really cute, but I'll take the fact that it's not because I'm too fat, but honestly because my body is too big for them! ( not just the usual, you're big boned cop out :oP )

i think i'm going to go home early, put my wedding dress on, and jump on the bed. Mind you I got married 5 years ago and had a baby 10 months ago. But, I've lost 6 pounds so far and things are starting to fit again!!!!
YUP!
On Saturday I went shopping and got a pair of Sarah Jessica Parker skinny jeans (SKINNYS NEVER FIT ME) and they fit like a glove- size 8. Awesome.
PS- they were only $7
Congratulations!!! What a great feeling!!!![]()
I had a reverse moment like that. I was going to wear a strapless bra that I've pulled out for special dressy occasions for the past 5 years and it was too big fastened at the smallest. It was a 40C....apparently my chest has shrunk because the cup size was fine.
Congrats on the skinny pants!
im supprised youkept them for that long :P you really stuck it out! im proud!
Great job; that's fantastic! We're proud =D
congrats! yea my goal is to fit in my favorite jeans which are a size 24... :/

You won't want to take it off! I ate dinner in my prom dress ![]()
I had a few of those moments lately. I tried on a couple of pairs of jeans that have never fit me that well (bought in a fit of optimism several years ago) and they were actually LOOSE in places! That and I put on a skirt that I haven't zipped all the way to the top in easily 8 years and wore it all day zipped all the way up. :)
I also had one of those moments shopping for new clothes. I needed tank tops for summer so I went to Old Navy. I got frustrated because they didn't have many colors in large, but then I held the large up to me and it seemed a little big. So I grabbed a medium (which I haven't worn probably since right out of college 9-10 years ago) and pulled it on over the shirt I was wearing. It fit. I was so surprised I said out loud, "Oh my god, I'm wearing a medium!" The girl next to me looked at me with a puzzled look on her face and I explained to her that I'd lost some weight. Turns out she lost about 80 lbs, so we high-fived and spent a few minutes talking about what a great feeling it is when you fit into a size you'd given up on.
Congratulations!

LOL, my girlfriends and I did that not too long ago too! We had a fancy dinner of crab legs and we all ate in our wedding dresses! The hostess is of the opinion that even big girls need to play dress up every now and then! It was crazy! But so much fun!
These stories are making me smile. I love people who wear skinny jeans - I've never had that courage. Go out there and show it off!
Maintaining here, so my moments are more along the lines of "Whoa, these skinny jeans still fit. *happy dance*" I have a strange fear of waking up and realizing that I'd binged the night before and gained 10 lbs. Gotta love spandex :D
