What are 5 old favorites you havent eaten in forerer?
I dont crave them but I do miss them in a sentimental way.
1. Garlic Bread
2. KFC regular fried chicken/McNuggets
3. Pie
4. French Fries
5. Sweetened Cereal
Oh, there are more but these are top 5.
Reason: Released as sticky
1. Cheddar Cheese with the wax just to munch on
2. 'real' cookies with sugar, butter, and eggs (making them is half the fun)
3. wonderful cheeses with different kinds of crackers and artisan meats
4. fried cheese stix
5. shots!!! 8)
3 egg cheesy omelettes with fatty meat in them
Anything from Jack in the Box
chocolate
chicken fried steak
big bowl of spaghetti with sausage and bread
In no particular order...
- Large Fries from McDonalds.
- Starbucks Caramel Frappuccinos WITH whipped cream (after I figured out that the cream accounts for most of the calories I stopped having it and now just have it without the cream).
- Regular Coke (I only drink the diet kind now).
- Bagels w/cream cheese and jam (I sometimes have them as a treat but most of the time they're just a waste of calories).
- Those huge delicious muffins you get from the supermarket that taste really good but have about 600 calories a piece.
Unfortunatly, I've had to give up or limit just about everything I love...
-Ben and Jerry's, Cold Stone, Dippin Dots, etc
-Dr Pepper
-Sonic, Jack in the Box (that one was forced, moved to an area without one), taco bell, wendys, most fast food in general....still get some McNuggets occationally
-Chicken Fried Steak with lots of white gravy, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, etc...*drool*
-Just about everything else fried
-Cheesy tex-mex complete with 'rita and tortilla chips
-chex mix, the homemade kind
-oh the list was just 5...my bad
1. Pizza (Had it once in seven months without cheese and with chicken and veggies. I figured why because it was gross and haven't touched it since)
2. Any unhealthy fast food, especially fried chicken...spicy. The only fast food I eat occasionally is Taco Bell, Subway, and Chik Filet.
3. Carrot cake with cream cheese icing
4. Chicken parmesean
5. Pork fried rice.
Thanks for making me think of this now after 7 months. :)
- Fast or Fried foods of all kinds (chicken nuggets, fried Chinese entrees, tempura, french fries, ice cream, creamy salad dressings, milkshakes, ice cream, and of course, burgers... of which I was actually never a fan).
- Pizza from chain-restaurants, such as Pizza Hut. I'd much rather make my own or get my favorite cheeseless version from a great local pizzeria. I love that place so much I named my cat after it. ^^
- Chips, Dips, and Pretzels. Toasted pita slices, seed or millet crackers, raw veggies, hummus, and some homemade "cheeze" sauce will do it for me.
- Anything with lots of sugar. I rarley EVER, EVER eat anything I haven't baked myself, and when I do bake, I only use either fruit juices or puree's, honey, agave nectar, stevia extract, molasses, maple syrup, or unrefined, unbleached whole sugar to sweeten.
- Breakfast cereals. Other than oatmeal or quinoa as a hot "cereal", I avoid them. Shredded wheats are okay if they're not frosted - they only have one ingredient after all. But Captn' Crunch, Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, and Corn Flakes are definatley out. Even Special K and Kashi have some questionable ingredients.
- Meat, eggs, fish, dairy, and poultry. This, of course, was a personal choice of vegetarianism, and doesn't need much explanation. I've found alternatives for everything though. For ground beef - use crumbled tempeh. For eggs, use flaxseed in baking or silken tofu for an omlette or scramble. For mock-tuna-salad, use chickpeas. For dairy, use soy milk products. And for poultry, my favorite, seitan. xD
1. Jamba Juice 16 oz size Orange a Peel with a Parmesan Sourdough Pretzel (670 cals for these)
2. Monster bowl of mashed potatoes with a LOT of butter and grated cheddar cheese
3. Double scoop of Mocha Almond Fudge on a waffle cone
4. Mega-size cheese enchilada platter with a basket of tortilla chips. Bonus point for including beer or margarita, depending.
5. Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies. Was fully capable of eating the entire bag, it's just easier not to have them at all.
I try not to cut anything out completely but these are just plain bad for me... even though i used to love them so!!
1. any type of doughnuts
2. MacDonalds/Burger King in any form
3. A whole large pizza to myself! Dominoes, Pizza Hut etc...
4. 'kiddies' cereals like Coco Cops, Nesquik cereal... or any with loads of sugar on! Just Special K now :o(
5. Huge bags of Kettle Chips (or any other crisps for that matter). Kettle Chips are probably and always will be my biggest weakness.
By the way... im from the UK so forgive me.... whats Wendy's?
1. Taco Bell
2. Double scoop of ice cream (a single once in a while is ok)
3. MacD's
4. Mashed potatoes with real butter and sour cream
5. Any pastry from the local bakery
- nutella (OMG!!!!!)
- mac n cheese
- non-diet cherry pepsi
- taco bell (yo quiero, tambien!)
- this bomb-ass chocolate cake that helped me gain 16 pounds in 2 months
1. IN & OUT DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER
2. IN & OUT DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER
3. IN & OUT DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER
4. IN & OUT DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER!
5. IN & OUT DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER!!!
Did I mention I haven't had one in 6 years?!?! All of you who have ever had one will know what I'm talking about! Those of you who have never heard of it or had one....drop everything you're doing and high tail it to California right now!
The only thing that keeps me from going there is my size small In & Out Burger T-Shirt I wear religiously to keep things in perspective.......
1. Zebra Cakes
2. Wendy's Fried Chicken sandwiches
3. Pop Tarts
4. Kraft Mac&Cheese, but I will be having that sometime again during the summer.. That stuff is special to me in ways I can't really explain. haha I know that sounds pretty weird.
5. Snickers Bars
1. French Fries. (Boyfriend got some from Wendy's last night and I didn't eat a single one, I was proud!)
2. Snicker's ( i love candy :-( lol)
3. Applebee's Nachos Nueavos/ Applebee's Spin and Artichoke Dip( oh god their quaso cheese is ADDICTING! and the Spin dip is love! I work there so it's so hard to not eat them lol)
4. Doughnuts
5. Dairy Queen's cookie dough blizzards( there's 720 calories in a small! i cried when i read the info on their website!)
fyi: wendy's is a fast food chain here in the states. they're famous for square burger patties ans sinful concoctions knows as frosties, kind of a mix between a milkshake and ice cream soup.
btw, dq blizzards? i got hooked on those in florida. there was a dq right down the street from my house, so whenever i didn't feel like cooking, or just had a blizzard fix, i'd be in the drive thru! omg they are soo good, and soooo wrong! speaking of high cals, did you guys know that ONE large serving of a baskin robbins milkshake has 2300 calories, regardless of which flavor you get? and a small has 900 cals? WTF????
and kraft mac n' cheese is my ultimate comfort food, so i know where you're coming from!
yeah i know what you mean with the blizzard fixes! every mall in ohio has a DQ in it! I work at a mall! When i take my lunch break i always have a subway veggie sub with apples for a side and run really fast past that DQ or it will bad news for me! lol. A baskin robbins shake has that many calories in it? and i thought the steak and shake ones were bad too! i mean they are bad for you a cookie dough one with hot fudge is like 1200 calories! the fruit and yogurt ones ate 430 with out the whipped topping or the cherry. and girl i hear ya on mac and cheese! so bad but amazing!

1. IN & OUT DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER...

2. Pizza.
3. Kolaches (Texas word for sausage & cheese in a kinda bagelly roll)
4. Good beer. Still too often probably, but usually mich ultra now.
5. Wings. also 2 times this year, used to be 2 x week at least.
5 (again). Venti white chocolate mocha. Skinny vanilla latte now. Still not great, but better.

I know a Carl's Jr. in Texas that took every ounce of my being to stay away from! My dear friend would actually go there with me in the car and order the 'protein burger' wrapped in lettuce! So very wrong! It's the only Carl's I've ever seen in Texas-won't tell where it is..... ;)

actually, if you're gonna be eating ice cream from a fast food joint, Frosties are the best way to go. They have only 8 g Fat and 270 cals for a small. I can't usually finish more than a small and they're only 99 cents! waaay better than a DQ blizzard or shake from mcD
1. Chocolate candy of any kind.
2. Chips.
3. Crappy cereal like Captn Crunch Berries.
4. Ice Cream.
5. French Fries.
