I want to be around 176. I am active, i work out with jillian michaels 30 day challenge daily, and i seem to not go anywhere. Can anyone share their secrets with me? And how you did it?
My first goal is to get to 225, then 215, then so on.
-Watch your ratio's of fat/carbs/protein
-Get plenty of protein
- Lift weights, muscle burns fat and increases metabolism
- Get a serious plan, stick to it. Be honest with yourself
- Take one day at a time, take progress pictures, and measurments ... just some ideas!
Set healthy mini goals.... reward accordingly!
I once made that same journey, from 235 to 175... I did it in college when I became a vegetarian. I ate a lot of meat substitutes, and got a lot of my protein from nuts and beans as well (oh, and I still ate a lot of fish & shrimp). Cutting that fat out of my diet helped immensely. Since eating meat again, I've gained some of the weight back. I'm looking to incorporate a lot of my vegetarian eating habits back into my diet, and save eating meat (especially red meat) for once a week.
