How old were you when you had your first kiss?
I'm curious. Sorry if this is a repetitive topic- I'm sure someone else has posted this before, but I didn't find it.
So...how old were you? I'm 14...and I still havent had one. Also, how old were you when you first started dating? That may be the same question, in some cases, but I'm curious about that too :)
EDIT: I was kissed by my bf on my 15th birthday- it was perfect and amazingly awkward :) Thanks for everybody's answers!
I was 15, right before I started my sophomore year of highschool. It was with my bestfriend's brother, a boy I had a puppy crush on for a couple of years.
Oh and it happened on the fourth of July, so I "saw fireworks." Hahaha.
18... hooked ever since!![]()
Don't rush it... when it happens it will be right, and awesome.
I don't see why people say "don't rush kissing" ... it's only a kiss. Don't rush sex, no, but kissing?
Anyway, I was 7. Hated it, thought it was disgusting :P
The next time I kissed a guy I was 14.
I also began my first 'serious' relationship at 14 and I'm now 17, and been with the guy over 2 years. Lala.
i...was...11 yrs old....7 seconds with tongue on a planned dare with my boyfriend (LOL) that jerk. he dumped me the next week! haha.
i started serious relationships @ 14(stayed with that guy for 5 years), but I always had a boyfriend that bought me presents and we sent secret love letters to eachother and went to the movies and stuff since like 5th or sixth grade.
And once I became twelve we stopped playing truth or dare and we just made out so...if I were to go by gennysaurus I guess I have no idea.
dang, I seem alone on this! lool
uhm, i had my first real kiss in 7th grade...
and i started dating in like 6th. it was stupid though. ha! (:
it will come. just let the timing be right... (:
First kiss, 18. He was my best friend turned first boyfriend, but he had a thing where his kisses were always shy, light pecks. It was strange.
I didn't make out until I was twenty, with my second boyfriend. He was very good at it. I hate to say such a thing, but even my current boyfriend doesn't kiss as well as he did. And I'm fine with that, cuz I love him to bits.
Kissing can be extremely overrated. It can also be extremely special. ;)
It differs.
I had my first kiss when I was 18 with this guy who was a buddy of mine, I initiated it. I think I was tired of waiting for the right guy(I was really picky about guys up until then lol) but I totally wish I'd just kept on waiting. I figured, why not he's really cute..But it was just terrible. First off, he was a terrible kisser, secondly we both really didn't care about each other, and we didn't even really stay friends. It was just this random blip in time, and wasn't as special as I think it should have been :(
But there have been many kisses since then and my first kiss always served as an example that it's always better to kiss when you really mean it :) Kissing is a language, like a conversation. Forced conversation is uncomfortable, and you can't wait til it's over...But a conversation that occurs naturally...One of those where there's just so much to talk about and you wish it'll never end...By the end of it you feel a whole lot closer with the person. A kiss should be like that...Natural, not forced...And genuinely enjoyable! In short: Don't kiss somebody cause you feel like you "should" or you're at the age where you "should" have had your first kiss! Go with how you feel. If you're not feeling it, you'll regret it!
My actual first kiss that I actually count as a kiss was on October 1st of 2007 when I was 14 with a guy named Thomas who I loved very much. Unfortunately the kiss wasn't that great. He ended up being my BF for about 4 months, and we kissed often, but I never saw fireworks or anything :( I felt a lot for him, but I just don't really like kissing, I prefered hugging him lol.
