How old were you when you had your first kiss?
I'm curious. Sorry if this is a repetitive topic- I'm sure someone else has posted this before, but I didn't find it.
So...how old were you? I'm 14...and I still havent had one. Also, how old were you when you first started dating? That may be the same question, in some cases, but I'm curious about that too :)
EDIT: I was kissed by my bf on my 15th birthday- it was perfect and amazingly awkward :) Thanks for everybody's answers!
I was 12 when I had my first kiss. I just wanted to get it over with so I took this geeky guy behind the parked cars (while walking to our bus) and we kissed with tongue. He slobbered all over me, his breath stank, his tongue was fat, and he bit me, hopefully, on accident.
For all the people who feel like losers because they haven't been kissed yet, trust me, you feel like an even bigger loser kissing someone you don't even like (especially when it's as bad as my experience). Waiting to kiss someone you really like is so much more worth it. Don't rush!
i'm 13, and have no desire to be kissed at this time in my life. I'm not allowed to date 'till i'm 16, so i don't really feel left out at all by not having been kissed yet. I just want to wait until i find the right guy![]()
I'm 14, and have never been kissed. Well, I have (it was like 2 weeks ago actually), but I don't count it cause it was with one of my best friends and she was high and it didn't mean anything at all. And I've never been in a real relationship, I'm waiting for the right girl =)
I was 15! And it was late in the year too....nearly 16!
To my very first ever boyfriend who I didn't even sleep with (despite the awful rumours around the school...."he wishes" is all I can say to that haha)
We went to the cinema to see Pirates of the Caribbean :D How romantic lol
I don't think this is an appropriate topic for a weight loss website/forum.

it's more than a weight loss forum. notice that this is in the division of "young calorie counters" not the weight loss or fitness sections. =)
never been kissed.
but am happy for it being that way, i personally want to wait. :)

same with me. and i'm okay with it.
my first was when i was 12 and god i fricken regret it....wrong guy, he was 14 btw (but dont get me wrong he was hot lol) but when I have my first kiss with the guy I love, i'll tell u
i'm 20
just had my first kiss this yr.
worth waiting
im 14, and haven't had one either.
but thats okay because i want to remember it forever and ever
My uncle says my first time was when I was three or four on the floor of his backseat, with my cousin. O.o I don't remember it. My first 'boyfriend' was when I was 11, it was a mistake. We kissed, and more >.<, and we shouldn't have. I sincerely regret that.
Honestly, I don't really like mouth-to-mouth kissing. =/ I don't find it appealing to watch, or read about, or perform, much.
My favourite kiss, the one I really think was special, was when my current boyfriend kissed me on the forehead the first time we met. THAT was worth waiting for. :)
hey...
i feel a little embarrassed about this, but i need some advice.
im 13 and at my school its kinda normal to be touchy feely with guys. almost all of my close friends are guys but i think i went a little far the other day. we were watching a movie and we were just messing around and then next thing i knew i was giving him a hand job. ive done a lotta stuff with guys before, but nothing this bad. i feel like a slut, but dont know what to do about it.
dont worry about it.
it doesnt make you a slut or anything.
kids do ****, it happens.
my first kiss was at 14,
i had my first sexual experiences at 14 (being fingered, giving a handjob, etc. no "vaginal intercourse")
Wow everyone here started so young...
I don't mean to rial up the crowd but... do you think that this SUPER young average age of first 'sexual experiences' correlates at all to the self love and self worth that a lot of people struggle with on this site?
I think it is outrageous that all of these things are happening at 14. What are parents teaching their children? And yes, a 14 year old IS a mental and emotional child.
This whole thread sits wrong with me.
Never. I'm 17. I'll wait. :)
i was 16... my first real bf (all the rest seemed to be.... overly shy, and didnt try anything more than hand holding) and im still with him now (im 25).. yeah yeah... awwwww how sweet lol!

i never felt physically aroused when i was 13. i only became physiologically "horny" when i was 16. i'm 17 & still have not done anything whatsover, becase, honestly, i dont feel ready for it.
you are NOT a slut. i think the key thing to realize about yourself is whether YOU WANTED to give him the hand job. if you did, why?
was it:
- enjoyable to you?
- because YOU really wanted to?
- did you want to become more intimate/feel closer to this male?
- OR did you just do it because you felt that was the only way to get him to like you?
if it was 1,2, or 3, then your fine. but i want to make sure that you do not feel that you really need to do this to get a guy to like you.
feeling guilty about it is not good. it obviously shows the nature of the situation you were in. good sex (i mean, anything, kissing, oral, manual sex) should not make you feel guilty in any way. just asking this sort of question shows that you really didnt want to do it in the first place. atleast thats how it looks to me.
also, in the beginning i notice that you say "its kinda normal to be touchy-feely with guys" to me, that translates, "im doing it, just to be like all my friends" you honestly sound like you weren't ready.

Are you generalizing based on a few prior posts or including 'kissing' as a form of sexual experience in order to qualify the generalization to some degree? o.O
If the former, I call overgeneralization; if the latter, I say: I really doubt that, in most cases, giving or receiving a kiss at a pre-pubescent or teen age is going to cause some later self-esteem issues.

i think she was talking about other things than kissing.
