im at least 2000cals i'd say, maintaining, actually i got a bit scared, i lost a kilo (2 pound) and freaked, planned a sleepover and ate loads :) i've recovered an ED and STILL NO PERIOD, my life is officially on hold until i d, it's really sad :(

Rule of thumb for female 'ideal' weight is as follows...
5 feet = 100 lbs, + 5lbs for every inch after that. For a small frame subtract 5lbs, for a large frame add 5.
For example, I am 5'2" with a small frame. My ideal weight would be 100 + 5(3) = 115 - 5lbs for frame size
Ideal weight - 110.
(although I look and feel best at 100-105)

meaghanc - You do NOT need to lose weight. I was close to your height and weight at 13. Even though everyone always commented on how long and lean and thin I was, I was taller than all my friends and wanted to be smaller. So I figured if I could lose 5 or 6 pounds, get down to 105 that I would feel better and be happier.
I have been suffering with anorexia nervosa for the past seven years. I never intended for it to become that. I just wanted to feel better about myself. I have almost died more times than I can count. It was NOT worth it, not all the life I missed, all te oppurtunities I lost. Nothing is worth killing yourself for, especially not weight. And BTW - 117 lbs at 5'7" is very thin, actually its underweight. If you continue to try to lose weight, I can almost guarantee you that it will not make you happy, and if anything you will probably feel worse.
I've noticed many many of the girls here are already thin or healthy weights for your heights, but yet you all want to lose weight. It breaks my heart to see girls doing this to themselves, especially so young. I know what I went through, and am still going through. I can only hope that you all don't end up in the same boat as me - missing out on the greatest times of your life because you are too consumed by something insignificant.

Well i have to say, most of these posts are quite triggering to me and make me feel like a lazy fat disgusting pig. ESPECIALLY considering there are so many people who are ALREADY super thin (90-110lbs), yet they are on here with goals to be very underweight (80-100lbs). I mean theres 5'9" girls wanting to be 100lbs, thats just not right.. and another girl was freaking 95lbs at 5'4" and said shes "trying to loose", thats just horrible and unhealthy and extremely triggering. I wish i hadn't read this thread but since i already did its too late now. blahhhh :[
Im 14, around 5'5", and currently 104lbs. (down from about 120) I WAS getting ready to start maintaining soon, but all these post just make me feel fat, and now i feel like i should make my goal 100lbs.
Well im going to go on the tredmill now and bust my butt off...
