anyways,

i was reading some one elses thread on not having a period and IT CLICKED! i've had a white discharge for some weeks didn't think of it!

This is the best news i could get, to know im not infertile, im healthy an it's on the way! well, th est news other than t get my actual period, which too will ean it's own thread :)

just felt like sharing it with the other gainers, or people sitting in the dark. this things i possible, if you treat your body right (according to your doctor) and your own gut-feelings, your body will look after you, and happy, good, exciting changes and supprises are in store for every one of us, this is one i've been hanging out for.....

It's good to see you're motivated. If this is something you haven't been having (the discharge) until recently, you should be sure it is normal and not a sign of infection. If it's normal, then it could indicate that your estrogen levels are starting to get back to a healthy range.

have you ever considered taking fish oil capsules?along with a pre-natal? its best to have at LEAST four bleedings a year to avoid osteoperosis in the future.  if you havent had a period in a long time you may need to speak to your doctor about inducing a period.

I thought I was getting mine back 2 days ago coz I had like brownish discharge and I was soooo excited!!! .... but it only lasted a day and now its gone again, back to white Cry. I always had the white.. I thought it was just normal vaginal fluid?? Like nothing to do with hormones? Just keepin you moist if you know what i mean?

I don't know what to do now. I'm trying to maintain now so I might just stay maintaining for a few months and see what happens.. but I think its a good sign! Good luck!

meesh - *cry* haven't had one since february so...um i remember one doctor mentioning osteoperosis has a high chance, what are the side effects, how/why do people stuggle with it?

cookie - i suppose it could be, but it's definately related to hormones, originally on my first i had the white stuffs for a year or 2!

What are the consequences of osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis bone fractures are responsible for considerable pain, decreased quality of life, lost workdays, and disability. Up to 30% of patients suffering a hip fracture will require long term nursing home care. Elderly patients can further develop pneumonia and blood clots in the leg veins that can travel to the lungs (pulmonary embolism) due to prolonged bed rest after a hip fracture. Some 20% of women with a hip fracture will die in the subsequent year as an indirect result of the fracture. In addition, once a person has experienced a spine fracture due to osteoporosis, he or she is at very high risk of suffering another such fracture in the near future (next few years). About 20% of postmenopausal women who experience a vertebral fracture will suffer a new vertebral fracture of bone in the following year"

personally i got my period back after a major relapse taking a omega fish oil capsule my doctor gave me. actually i kind of took alot of them.  well there wasnt anything that said i would get sick from it if i did from the bottle so i just did. i wasnt counting calories in them, i guess i just pretended they didnt have calories as i knew they were going to be good for me. the bottle said take 1-3 a day but i ended up taking 3-5 after every meal/snack hahaah. along with a pre-natal vitamin and im sure that the 30 minutes of excercise in the morning had alot to contribute to me menstaring again. i was actually able to get my period back and manage to get my hair to stop falling out in around three weeks from starting that.

ooo....does sound bad, but well done for yourself lol :)

did exercise help get your period back?

i should ask mum about the omega fish oil capsules, i keep hearing good reports on them from everyone (to the point where it's suspicious, it cant be that good can it?) ; CC, friends, family, school etc.

i did 30 minutes of swimming in the morning everyday. yes it helped becuase before i was doing none and i needed better blood circulation throughout my body. it was light swimming almost meditative. i would definitly ask you mom for the fish oil capsules. they are amazing its the essential fatty acids that will help your body trust itself again to have a proper bleeding. dont be afraid to take double to triple the dose. just do what feels comfortable
