I just made sweet potatoe fries....(sliced fry sized sweet potatoe with a little pam and cooked @ 400 for 20 min)  About 130 cal

I cooked a Boca burger (70 cal) on the Forman....Had a wheat bun (110 cal) Fat free cheese (35 cal) With mustard, tomatoe, lettuce, and a little ketchup.

A whole meal for less than 350 calories...and I AM STUFFED!!!!

*sigh*

Back to work....

LOL Bob....no wonder the site always says.."do you mean potato?"
I know this is going to sound bad but I have never had a sweet potato anything....infact I don't even think I have ever seen them in the grocery store....Do they have another name or something ( I am assumeing they are in the produce section)

Pretty  much the same as yams.

Yup, they even have sweet potatoes in Bismarck, ND - I saw them tonight!

They're yummy, and good for you too!

they are in the produce. usually hanging round the potatoes and onions in mine. They look like funny long (but not straight, really)pointy potatoes. hard to describe really, try googling for an image :P
Does anyone know if they sell Boca products in Canada?!
I was looking for them as well I could never find the burgers but I remember seeing something else Boca brand so I think they do just not in the store I was looking in!

Sounds delicious.  I thought about getting sweet potato chips in the store.  Maybe I might.

YUM! sweet potato fries and a veggie burger is one of my favorite dinners!

just a warning mahogany, sweet potato chips are delicious, but they aren't any better for you than regular old chips!

I had the same thing for dinner last night for dinner. Did you season your sweet potato fries? I love them with a few spices
asftx...I had no idea what to season them with.....I was thinking cinnamon, cause I like that on sweet potato...but I didn't do anything....So what do you put on them??
Hi, I like to season mine with a very small amount of Johnnys Season salt, or a mixture of onion powder, garlic powder and low sodium salt and pepper. They are really good.
I like to par cook them and slice them, pam, and crazy salt, which is probably like Johnny's.  Also I like to mash them with cinnamon and sugar free maple syrupand YUMMY!
I love sweet potato fries!  I usually will cut them up and put in the microwave for a minute or two to par cook them then put on a baking pan spray with a little olive oil and sprinkle on seasoned salt and chili powder. By par cooking in the microwave you don't have to leave them in the oven as long - maybe 10 minutes just to brown and let them get a little crispy. You end up with a sweet/salty/spicy combo that is wonderful.
Ha! Too funny. That's almost exactly what I had for dinner last night and it was delicious! I am all about the sweet potato fries! YUM!
Call me stupid, but how do you get the sweet potato to stay firm enough to cook as a fry?

well i spray them with non stick spray or you can coat them in butter/ olive oil and then season them with paprika, little salt, pepper, chili pepper and lightly coat them in it. bake until crispy. or if you like them sweet i know someone that has made like a maple syrup type sweet potato fry. but im more of a salty, savory person. Ive also seen people make butternut squash fries. there is a recipe on hungry-girl.
