Quote  |  Reply

Just had to share I feel my body is just hanging on to my weight at 150, and I yo-yo for the last ten years around that number!  Today was the day after only 9 days in this program I have taken off a wopping 3 pds.  May not sound like a lot it IS!  I am below 150 and hope to never return.  I am following the program and hanging in there....remember everyone we can DO IT!

Isn't it fabulous when you see that drop, finally! I love calorie counting! Congrats!

Congratulations!!!  I'm liking this calorie counting stuff too.  I'm afraid to get on the scale because I want to be surprised.  But I feel more energetic, and its only been 1 week for me.

YAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU!!!!!

Keep on keeping on!

I know how you feel! when I finally got under 200lbs for the first time in 5 years I felt I could conquer the world!

YOU CAN DO IT!

Thank you for your support!  I just wanted to say, stay off the scale as much as possible....it can really mess with your head!  I am very addicted to watching it and it is hard on those days that it saids I went up a pd....even though by the end of a week it is ok.  So longer you wait to look, you will probably see better results!

Yet another good reason to lay off the booze....

Its suprising but a pound is actually a lot!!

Look at a pound of butter and its quite heavy!

Good for you! Congratulations. I reached 152 about 3 weeks ago.  I was not working out, eating and drinking whatever I wanted and I could see the weight going up and my clothes getting tighter.  Didn't feel good at all!!!  At that time, I decided to go back to the gym, but still not watching my diet.

Here is where I can't say it enough - DIET IS EVERYTHING - Last week, I finally decided to come back to used CC to help me keep track of my diet.  It is working!!! I already feel it in my clothes, after one week of cutting back on food and drink intake.  I am at 146.6 today. It feels great to put on a shirt I haven't been able to wear and I feel better - my digestive system is better.

It is so nice to read about other's accomplishments and it inspires me even more.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wiggle wiggle hippy hop Yeahhhhhhhhh applaud roar

Doing happy dance with you. :)

congratulations! that's really a job well done!!! :)

That is really great! WHOO HOO! It must feel so good to see 14 as the first numbers!

What a good point perkypinky about a pound of butter and feeling what it weighs! I only lost 1.5 pounds the first week and .5 the second. I was so bummed. But thinking about it that way makes me feel better!

Congratulations, I'm really happy for you.  I lost 2.6 on the calorie count weight loss program until I reach the 150 mark.  I'm really proud of you for sticking to it, it's tough, but doable. Keep up the good work.  The first week, I don't know, I guess I have a lot of weight to lose, but I lost 15 the first week, I thought my scale was broken or something but I had 158.5 to lose, so maybe that was accurate, and since then (March 22, 2008) I've lost 132.3 lbs

OH my goodness!!!

Even though I dont know you Im still very proud.

Keep on going, I know you can do it.

Wow after 9 days 3 pds is so good. Whats your daily routine??

Can you message me it?

thx

Thank you for your response I appreciate the kind words....and yes I also feel the need to cheer it really is a major deal....I think I getting it what it will take to get this blasted weight off once and for!  CC it a life saver!  And I agree the pd of butter....what a great visual!

Carttjen1981....you have lost 132pds!  That is beyond awesome!  Your my hero!  Thanks for the congrats....I do think no matter how big or small all pds should be celebrated!
