OMG meals/snacks you used to eat
What meals or snacks caused you to gain weight that you'd just eat a ton of?
I'll start first:
- 99 cent bag of furitos and a can of hormel chili with TONS of cheese on it
- box of graham crackers and a jar of chocolate frosting
- double bacon cheese burger with large criss cut fries and ranch
- "gotta have it" sized cold stone birthday cake remix
- Entire box of little debbie snack cake
I could really go on for days :)
Appetizers/hors d'ouvres. I loved them, I would make an entire dinner out of them: bacon-wrapped waterchestnuts, those little puff pastries filled with cheese or mushrooms or spinach and feta that were about 50 calories each and I'd eat an entire box, jalapeno poppers, dry ribs with salt, mini quiches, cheeseball and crackers, chips and onion dip.
That was my serious depression food. Or a big plate of perogies, sour cream bacon, and fried onions.
Those big boxes of chocolate-coated Dad's cookies and goodie rings? I could eat an entire jumbo box in like 2 days. Also good depression food.
It's really pretty amazing that I was ONLY up to 340 lbs, cuz I was depressed a lot. I have never been short of appetite, I'll tell you that.
Wow, you guys are making me drool!! Haha, i really miss the old days when i just ate whatever i want, and as much of it as i wanted (which was always alot). This used to be a typical day of favorite foods i miss...
bfast- HUGE cinnamon buns with cream cheese frosting oh my god there amazing 700 calories a bun. and i would eat like 2 a day.
lunch- tons of chips, ice cream i miss:[[.
dinners- okay my all time favorite food is spagetti. My mom used to make me spagettii with meatballs and garlic bread rolls, and i would eat a whole heaping PLATEFUL, with 4 meatballs and at least 2 rolls. probably was like 1000 or so calories at once. Also i miss having pizza hut pizza, with BREADSTICKS, and oh gawd just everything!!!!
snacks- candy and cookies i used to eat whole sleeves of cookies and not even care!!
I miss all those things, when i ate all those kind of things i ate ATLEAST 2500-3000 calories a day. It amazes me my heaviest was 125lbs.

Homemade quesadillas: Two tortillas, LOTS of melted cheese
Lots of gatorade
Homemade Yoghurts (very, VERY fatty)
A used to eat an entire can of pringles, and entire bag of potato chips (yeah, even family sized), an entire box of cheeze-its, a whole box of mac-n-cheese, or an entire tub of ice cream. Any of those in one sitting would certainly do me in. I'd only do one or two twice a week, but combined with a lot of meals out, that really did me in. =/
I still want to eat a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips, though. Really badly. D:
Ahhh... McDonalds, KFC, fasttt foodddd.
Now, just not so much. Doesnt actually taste that good.
But I still cave and buy a McFlurry every now and then.
Those pilsberry cookies with the holiday pictures on them! Ahh.. My best friend and worst nightmare.
Peanut butter sandwiches!! When I was younger I'd make them with 3 pieces of bread, so there'd be more peanut butter. Didnt realize until I was older how fattening they are.
TV Dinners. I used to eat the Michelina's as snacks until I read the nutrition facts and nearly had a heart attack!
Lays Chips. Are you American? Well down here in Canada we have Lays chips. They're AMAZING. God, you cant just stop with one chip... or five... or thirty.
Tim Horton'd Doughnuts!! Hawaiian sprinkle doughnuts.. Ahh... And Krispy Creme!
Spoonfuls of honey. Yum.
Strawberries and grapefruit with HEAPS of sugar on top.
Breaddd... Still eat tons of it, I'm a carb-lover. Carbs and veggies.
Cupcakes. The mini ones from Loblaws. They're so tiny, it makes you feel like eating three of them a day is alright.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!
Meat. Meat. More meat. I come from a steak-with-every-dinner type of family, not proud of it. There's always coldcuts in the fridge.
Ahhh... my favourite: M&Ms.
One of the only guilty pleasures I never think twice about (its a little gift to myself) is starbucks. Frappuccinos, loaded with milk and sugar.
I can taste it now... ;)
Jalapeno poppers, hot wings-- "extra wet and extra bleu cheese!" I'd tell the server. Pretty much anything on the appetizer menu at a place like chili's or applebees. if I went to those places I would get the appetizer sampler. Mozzerella cheese sticks, spinach and artichoke dip. Cheese, cheese, cheese! Chili cheese fries. Baked potato filled with BBQ pork, cheese, butter, sour cream, and dipped heavily in ranch dressing.
And last november I ate a slice of pumpkin cheesecake each night in bed with a cup of coffee before I went to sleep. Seriously, it started in November and ended when i couldn't find pumpkin cheesecake at the store anymore!

Reading all this is making it hard to resist tieing up my hubby and torturing him until he reveals the secret hidden location of the halloween candy!!!
No Seriously I really want to make a lasagna or tater tot casserole or beef stroganaugh, or a big fatty steak (it doesn't help I bought a 1/4 cow right before I decided to change the way I eat) with a giant potato with cheese, sour cream, and like 2 tablespoons of melty butter- oh yea and like 1/2 a package of sauteed mushrooms, omlets with sourcream, sourcream, ranch, cheese, Mc Donalds double cheese burgers, McDonalds iced vanilla coffee, pizza, chicken wings, juice, mexican pizza, nachos, chinese, sushi

My man and I quit drinking alcohol, and we kinda stuck coffee into the routine instead, and it stuck!
I am going to have to check out the hungry girl pumpkin cheesecake.
-2 bags of cranberries in one sitting.A swollen tongue and inability to speak for the entire day.
-Tortilla chips with a ton of spicy salsa
-Olive Garden breadsticks with olive oil and zataar
-Gallon of milk I've had days when I drank more than a gallon
-Triple chocolate mousse (drowning in drool)
-Dark chocolate or truffles
-italian bread with pesto
-Chex mix, a party size bag all to myself.
-A jar of pickles with chocolate (I know it's gross, fav PMS snack)
Edited to add Pepperidge Farm cookies with dark chocolate

Oh my... I remember when I usedto eat those tiny butter muffins straight out of bag. And not just a few. And one of my most usual after school snacks was spinach pancakes (which my mom says are healthy! 190 cals of 100 g!) and a tbsp of jam on every single one of them. Of course, I ate like half of the package of them. Around 800 calories with the jam. AUGH!
And of course, the oven pancake my mom used to make...If there was any of it left, Id eat it. 2-3 pieces. 300-450 calories. Or a 400-gram pint of peach yoghurt. 370 calories. Not to mention, we lived with my grandma (who is obese like my mom). She used to go get some pastries from the local bakery. 400 calories of **** for snack.

I have gone cold turkey of take away and processed food like doughnuts for about 5 years now but before then:
A boy friend and I would share a Mc Donald’s family meal between us ( 1 LARGE burger each, 1 cheese burger each, and A TONNE of French fried between us)
My parents home made spaghetti bolognaise was my favorite food and I would always eat a few plates of it!
If mum made apricot crumble or apricot pastry for desert I would ALWAYS have at least seconds
I got over weight from just eating too much of my favorite foods!
I am thin now, years later, but the food I have the biggest week ness for now is PEANUT BUTTER, RIGHT OUT OF THE JAR!
I do not get cravings or have to resist urges for it, but I will always get pleasure out of eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon.
like..10-20 chocolate chip cookies. I still love old food, I just can't believe I ate ton of them! I only eat like 4-5 cookies now o_O.
And for dinners and stuff I used to eat half of large pizza from papa johns or osmething just because I could more than because of hunger... I only eat like a piece or two for meals now when i get pizza anyhow.

Toaster strudels are pastries with a jam-like substance in the middle in flavors like strawberry or apple which you put in your toaster and then coat with accompanying icing glaze. OMG delicious.
Saltines are just crackers with salt. In moderation, they are typically used to top soups.
Little Debbie represents a brand of packaged pastries like brownies, cupcakes, Twinkies, etc.
Tater tots are like french fries, they're just mashed up potatoes fried into a small marshmallow shape. Also quite delicious but they have exactly the same issues french fries do.
(I love describing food I deny myself, lol!)
When I was a kid:
Wonderbread white sugar and butter sandwiches. Sometimes would use jelly or brown sugar instead of white sugar.
I've always eaten pretty healthy foods, just way too much of them! I would eat handfuls of nuts/raisins and way too much peanut butter without measuring it out or keeping track of cals. I used to think that since I worked out everyday I could eat however much I wanted.. so not true!
When I was kid, my mom cooked every night (usually meat & potatoes!) but if I was on my own, I used to rely on packaged foods...
Full boxes of Kraft Dinner.
Half a Pizza Hut cheese & pepperoni pizza, split with my brother every single week, with garlic fingers (if we were lucky...)
Chocolate chip cookies (Chips Ahoy!) dipped in tea (with milk & sugar already added to the tea, of course)
Bags of chips (big bags & small bags!)
Those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, right out the oven.
Cheap-o chicken nuggets shaped like dinosaurs (at least 6-9 each sitting + ketchup, bbq sauce, plum sauce... whatever), usually served with frozen fries.
Pillsbury frozen mini pizzas, pizza pops, pizza pockets, pizza roll-ups. you get the idea.
Kraft homemade boxed pizza kit... my friend and I would use a full block of cheddar cheese. I remember we put so much cheese on, it dripped over the side onto the oven and burned!
I once drank an entire 2 litre of cheap orange juice for some reason.
Cake frosting out of the tub.

I would make chocolate chip cookie peanut butter sandwiches!! What was I thinking? Also chicken Pot Pies, too much Taco Bell, and lots of moutain dew.
