OMG meals/snacks you used to eat
What meals or snacks caused you to gain weight that you'd just eat a ton of?
I'll start first:
- 99 cent bag of furitos and a can of hormel chili with TONS of cheese on it
- box of graham crackers and a jar of chocolate frosting
- double bacon cheese burger with large criss cut fries and ranch
- "gotta have it" sized cold stone birthday cake remix
- Entire box of little debbie snack cake
I could really go on for days :)
-mashed potatoes as a side dish with dinner probably 3 nights a week. They were loaded with sour cream, butter and cream
-Pasta 4 nights a week, thinking it was healthy!
-Pancakes and waffles for breakfast. mmmmm strawberry waffles!
-hot chocolate made by melting a chocolate bar in cream and then adding a little milk
-heavy cream in my 5-6 cups of coffee a day

OMGGG you just reminded me of this coffee shop in my town where they sell milkshakes in various different flavours. one of my friend's got a job in there and then we learnt what they put in their shakes. one flavour was called ''chocolate cheesecake'' and it was made by blending an entire slice of chocolate cheesecake into the shake :| (probably also milk, ice cream, syrup etc..) hhahah

Let's list by fast food establishment, shall we?
Arby's
Curly fries dipped in cheddar cheese sauce
Several regular roast beef sandwiches covered in cheese sauce
Vanilla milkshakes
(I worked at Arby's for 2 years as a manager)
McDonald's
Double Cheeseburger, small fry, x-large diet coke
Jack in the Box
Two regular tacos, Jumbo Jack with cheese, x-large diet coke
Wendy's
Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, small fry, diet coke
Burger King
Double cheeseburger meal, king sized!
El Pollo Loco
2 BRC burritos, diet coke
Many times I ate fast food 2 times a day!![]()

Oh dear, where do I start?
- Half a bag of pizza rolls as a snack - a full bag for a meal
- 2 frozen bean and cheese or chicken and cheese burritos almost every day!
- An entire frozen pizza for dinner
- Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich with fries and a small frosty (OMG SO GOOD).
- Taco Bell's Chalupa Combo
- An entire burrito from Qdoba with cheese AND sour cream.
- Chili's Cajun Chicken Sandwich, usually with their queso as an appetizer.
- A whole box of Kraft Mac and Cheese covered in ketchup.
- I'd split a bag of doritos with my best friend (who strangely enough has never struggled with weight!)
- Lots and LOTS of pizza.
- A HUGE order of nachos covered in queso, chicken and melted cheese from my favorite pub.
- Buffalo Wild Wing's boneless wings and lots of beer!
- Beer.
- Long. Island. Ice. Tea. Those things have like 600 calories each!
- Did I mention Beer? (I had a lot of fun in college!)
*choc. chip cookie dough... uncooked!
*mac n cheese & ramen noodles
*cheese in EVERYTHING, literally
*cheeseburger and large fry
*mashed potatos with all the butter/sour cream, ect
*chip and dip
*white chocolate
*serving sizes for everything were SO off too!
Large quantities of potatoes (mostly fries!) and rice
Too many cookies
Too many doritos
Alcohol!
- Frozen french fries w/ ALOT of BBQ sauce or ketchup.
- Frozen BBQ chicken wings ; like, the whole box.
- A whole bowl of biscuits --- for dinner! .__.
- Two frosted poptarts.
- Chocolate bars + chocolate milk.
- Chocolate chip cookies + milk.
- A whole bag of doritos.
- I used to eat chinese everyday! --- Genrel tso's chicken and steamed rice, doubled.
- At pizza hut I would eat cheese pizza w/ peppers, 10 chicken wings, and 4 breadsticks.
- At Arby's I would have a crispy chicken sandwich and curly fries w/ alot of BBQ sauce.
- At Mcdonald's I used to get chicken nuggets w/ BBQ sauce, fries w/ BBQ sauce, and a chocolate milkshake.
- 2 BIG bowls of spaghetti w/ alot of parmesan cheese.
- 2 BIG bowls of gulosh.
- Porkchops w/ alot of BBQ sauce and alot of buttered noodles!
And ect.
It all started when mom equated food with love.
Midnight grilled cheese sandwiches. That's all i really remember, but I do remember mom waking us up in the middle of the night frequently, feeding us, and we go straight back to bed!!!!!
Pop-tarts.. ooh, the sweet flaky goodness -200 cals EACH
White rice in a bowl swimming in garlic, hot chili sauce and soy sauce.. heaven
Arby's fried cheese sticks and dipping sauce.. i could eat nothing but this and die happy. Probably soon though because of it. haha.
Taco Bell - Chicken burritos, because chicken is lower fat than beef???? amirite???
Swiss cake rolls - .50 a pack in the lunch room. Economical and delicious.
Whole cans of Pringles, any flavor, I'd eat it.
French Fries... how I miss thee. Actually, not that much.. too greasy now.
Vegetables.. smothered in dip. Hey look! vegetables (with 1 tbsp dip. Each)
(Lots of) Chips and (some) Salsa! because salsa is good for you!!! (nom nom nom)
I really think it was the salt more than the sugar I craved, and still do. Hubby bought a sara lee cherry pie, and I could only eat a few bites of a slice, because it was soooooooooooooo sugary and sweet.
But put soy sauce or salsa on anything, and I'll eat it.
huge bags of candy: twizzlers, swedish fish, gummy bears, worms... (still have these sometimes, but i am MUCH better with portion control)
a whole bag of pretzels (low fat right?)
a whole bag of ruffles potato chips and onion dip made from full fat sour cream
lots of tositos and salsa
any full fat drink from starbucks
pizza dipped in bleu cheese dressing
2 boxes of kraft mac n cheese
cans of frosting on graham crackers, teddy grahms or nilla wafers
store bought entenmenns cake (eeeek trans fats)
...and these are just the snacks!
Chicken wings dipped in blue cheese.
Pizza dipped in blue cheese too. Particularly NY style, and prefereably from Stromboli Express.
Crunchy Cheetos
Reeses Pieces. I'd get the jumbo box and eat them all in an hour.
Cheez-its. OMG I could eat a box right now.
Buttercream frosting, eaten with a spoon.
Ben & Jerrys, particularly Chubby Hubby
McDonalds - 2 cheeseburgers, small fry and 8pc chicken nuggets (did you know that a 4pc CN was $.99, but an 8pc was almost $3?? Why did anyone order an 8pc instead of 2 4pc?
Alfredo sauce and piles of pasta
And the biggest weight gainer of all: Deep Fried Mac and Cheese Squares from Sonic, coupled with a Frito Lay chili cheese wrap. I ate these for I can't tell you how many days on our road trip (100 day trip) and I contribute it to at LEAST 10lbs that I gained.
In college, our pub had the BEST chicken fingers, deep fried of course, that came with fries. The woman there got me hooked on eating my chicken fingers w/ sour cream (full fat probably). I still crave this from time to time, but don't like chicken fingers from anywhere but the college.
- An entire box of KD as lunch or dinner
- 12-15 pierogies boiled then fried, served w/ f.f. sour cream
- Huge sandwiches on baguette, lots of cheese and meat (ugh, sodium!)
- McDonalds: 2 Cheeseburgers, Medium Fry, Milkshake, OR 20 Nuggets, Medium Fry and honey to dip the nuggets in
- Extra servings in general
- Bread with butter/PB... bagels are my enemy now :(
- heavily buttered air popped popcorn (thankfully I ate SO MUCH of this, that I have no taste for it now)
- Pizza... Lots of pizza. Used to be able to eat a whole medium cheese pizza by myself with one of my friends.
- Cookies. I can't keep home made cookies in the house, or I gorge on them.
ahhh.. so much food! heh
As an adult I think my biggest problem was completely od'ing on fatty carb meals. 3 big ones:
Perogies! (like half a pack at a time) covered in margarine, sour cream and salt
An entire pack of mac and cheese
and those darn mr noodles!
As a kid
icing out of the tub onto graham crackers
ketchup chips (one of those double pack boxes)
and the worst was, I didn't like drinking water so I would pour sugar into it!
ew ew ew
I still <3 perogies tho... *sigh*
OMG!! All these foods are making me crave!! Especillay the oreos!! Man, it's Girl Scout cookie time; I can eat a box of Thin Mints in one sitting, I don't know what I'm gonna do when they get there. Below are my favorite snacks:
LAY'S Hot and Spicey chips: I still will eat these, but only a few versus the whole bag.
Little Debbie Zebra Cakes, Oatmeal Pies, & Chocolate Rolls: I couldn't stop eating these.
McDonald's: 2 times a day. My favorites are Big Mac and Filet O' Fish. Mmmmm!!
Krystals: It's similar to White Castle but WWAAAYYYYY better!! This was me and my hubby's choice for late night snacks.
Starbuck's Caramel Frappuccino: I used to drink these 4 times a week. I now drink them from time to time, but I make sure it's no fat.
Hot Wings: What can I say about these. I used to eat them for dinner AT LEAST 3 times a week. one of my co-workers would bring me Hooter's EVERY Friday and I would eat all 10 of them PLUS the curly fries!! I try not to fool with the Hooters wings too much, but I will bake some now.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: Dude, I can eat at least a half a dozen; no problem. I tried to eat a dozen, but I got sick. I love these, they are part of my southern heritage.
Oh, and to whomever mentione the fried potatoes (cut up potatoes fried with oil, butter and onions topped off with heinz ketchup), man, these were a RELIGION in my house growing up.
There's more stuff; but, I think I've told you enough!! ![]()
