OMG I think I messed up.
I have been doing good for a while but today i decided that I deserved a treat so I went to Chili's and had margaritas (2-4-1). I ate good I had the guiltless salmon with just veggies. I hope all will be well and I don't balloon again. But i have to admit those drinks were danm good.
You can't gain weight from one meal. Call it a cheat day and move on.
Try not to worry. It's good to have a bit of fun. :)

Just wanted to add (so OP isn't alarmed when she steps on the scale tomorrow) that you MAY gain some weight TEMPORARILY due strictly to the alchohol and salt causing some water retention. Again, that is TEMPORARY and is not "real" weight in the sense of fat gained back. It will be gone again in a couple of days.

Actually you should be happy. I give myself 2 days a month for something like that. Although I never drink alcohol cause I just don't like the taste of any. BUt you need to give yourself at least 1 day to be bad or your body will punish you after a long run without it's "drugs".

Come on. The drinks were part of your meal and that's what soupcanx meant.

Yeah, you'd have to be looking pretty hard to find anything offensive about soupcan's comment.

I agree. Someone's a little touchy.
LOL! You have to be careful with drinks because they can contain a lot of calories (empty calories) though I don't know what a Chili's Margarita has but I do LOVE THE Presidente Margarita, YUMMY!!! Also watch out on restaurant's "diet" or guilt free menu because at some places they have a shocking amount of calories. I know that I look up different meals from places I eat and am totally shocked.
this a big reason why I workout 4/5 days a week. Sure I eat well for the most part, but I'm not going to limit all the yummy things like Margarita's just bc I'm trying to lose weight.
Forget about it. If the scale goes up, remember, it will go down again.
