One Bad Day?

Quote  |  Reply
Say that you had one bad day where you literally just ate everything

aka what i did today. And by everything, i mean that i did really well all day and then i got really emotional and started eating my feelings which usually includes donuts and bagels and generally other carbs like that

ive been doing well for a good two weeks....do u think this will make/break me? If i get right on track tomorrow do u think itll be okay?

This will not make/break you. A lot of people do this sometimes. I do this occasionally on the weekends. You'll be just fine if you get back on track tomorrow. Don't stress about it too much.

if you get hungry before bed, eat something small and healthy. Get yourself back on track before you even wake up tomorrow. Then there will be no 'choice' whether to keep going or not in the morning.
No guilty thoughts.  One day won't break you.

this actually could be a good thing!!! binging once in a while can actually raise your metabolism! so dont be down on yourself!
Don't let one bad day ruin all the progress you've made. Just learn from the mistake. Sometimes I will eat something unhealthy and feel so bad about it. I try now not to sweat it so much. If I slip up at breakfast I eat a really extra healthy lunch to make up for it. You can even plan to let yourself eat a fattening meal once in awhile by saving up for it with your other meals. I think it is not a very real expectation that you'll never eat a donut again. If your so strict with your diet you might be feeling deprived so you have a whole day of blowing it. LOL, hope that made some sense.
Just get back on track tomorrow. It's not a big deal. I have those days regularly.

I just  have a TOO MUCH calories day  yesterday. I mean..I'm looking to lose 4 pounds (I'm 5"1 and 104 pounds...I just want to it to be 100 pounds before  I go back to my country in Asia in May) so I have been trying to eat HEALTHY and kinda control my calories. Until yesterday....first day of my spring break and my uncle came to pick me up at my school and we drove 6 hours to Marryland...and this is what I ate yesterday...

Breakfast: 2 of 4" pancakes, 1 of 60 calories yogurt, 1.5 cup of 70 calories cereal

snack: 1 miniature Kit-kat and 1 miniature Rees's cup

-- Running for 30 minutes --

In the car....I had 2 oz grilled chicken with a bit of sticky rice, 2 cups of mix nuts

during that 6 hours -- I WHOLE bag of Baked Lay's (!!!!!) and 3 oranges

Dinner: 1 tbsp of Hummus and some Thai Salad (very low in fat and low in calories)

so....what do you guys think? Pretty bad, ah? What should I do???? Come back and eat normally at 1200 calories a day? Since today I can only sit and watch TV because it's too cold outside and I don't have trademill in this house...

 HELP ME!!!!!

By the way, I'm 16 and for the next 2 weeks, I'll be eating a lot of Thai food and those are low in calories and very healthy so.....what do you guys think?
