Quote  |  Reply

Okay, so here are mine (I could not pick just one):

 Spray butter:

    Easy to use

    Tastes great

    ZERO calories!!!

Splenda:

Do I have to give the benefits here?? =)

Joseph's Lavash Wraps with ALA-Omega-3:

    Low calorie

    Very soft and bread like

Filled with fiber, protein, and other nutrients

    Low carb!

Well, if you can list more than one, so can I - ;-)

*Salsa

*Equal

*Emeril's essence seasoning

I cold pretty much make do with "normal" foods otherwise, but those are the ones I count on most.

Splenda.

I know people say it's bad for you, yadda yadda yadda, but if someone took away my Splenda, I would go nuts.  I use it for so many things.
Probably Splenda. I never use regular sugar anymore. Also skim milk... I've always preferred it to fattier milk. Even 1% was too thick!
Splenda, light vanillasoy milk- only 70 calories per cup, boca veggie burgers, mustard instead of mayo, and cinnamon!

Josephs Lavash wraps for sure! I wish they would add it to the foods list... it's seriously the best bread-product ever. More people should know about it! With hummus or pbj it's sooooo yummy and low-cal and good for you, plus you can get it in your regular grocery store!

I also agree with salsa, mustard, light soy milk, veggie burgers, and artificial sweetener. But my biggest helper lately has been oatmeal.

equal!  i'm a coffee-drinker and when i run out of equal (like today) i rack up the cal's putting sugar in my java.
Yay..I am happy people have listed their faves. I see splenda is very popular! Cinnamon and other spices are certainly very helpful when adding flavor without adding calories. What else do people love!?
Dempster BodyWise 45 cal/slice Whole Wheat bread!!

Hot sauce, preferably Cholula. Its a ittle high in sodium, but it makes so many things taste better, without added calories from marinades or sauces. Also great on green beans!

spaghetti squash

spinach

basically all vegetables (imagine trying to diet without them!)

apples

tea

garlic -- others have mentioned spices and i find this the absolute best way to add flavour to my foods with minimal cals. fresh garlic is absolutely delicious!

wow...lets see

all fresh veggies
all fresh fruits
and morningstar breakfast sausage patties (10 g of protein for 80 cals..not bad i think :D)
egg beaters (but my mom refuses to buy them)

if i weren't a teenager still semi-dependent on my parents, i think id have a lot more...lol

morningstar breakfast sausage patties are AWESOME! i never tire of them.

egg whites

lynettep, you are so right about spaghetti squash!  practically no calories and i love it.  i just finished one a couple days ago, probably when i posted before, can't believe i forgot it!
Oh, I forgot to add Boca Burgers.  They are an excellent substitute for a hamburger--great flavor, hardly any fat, no cholesterol.  Put one on a bun with some cheese and condiments, and I can hardly tell the difference.  I never get sick of them either.
Ketchup and salsa... and strawberry jelly mmmmm
Spray butter is a definate, and of course
Splenda!

Green Tea comes in right up there as does
the Enviga drinks!
