I eat Artic Char, when Whole Foods carries it. They're supposed to have it year-round, but they seem to be having an issue with the supplier. I have no idea what the calorie count is. I just use the count for lake trout, since they're similar-ish.

what is it?

i eat arctic char. it looks and tastes kinda like a salmon....but its in the trout family?

Mmm! Arctic Char! Another one of my favorites but for some reason Whole Foods stopped carrying it, let's just hope that's a seasonal thing...

Since it's pretty much as fatty as salmon, if you are looking to log it in your food log... just search salmon and go from there! Enjoy your fish though - I am jealous!

nah I don't log my food or calories, I was just curious of the nutritional info. It is a lot like salmon, so I figured it wouldn't be much different.. although VERY HARD to find in my city (prarie provinces.. sheessh!!)

It was the special ingredient on Iron Chef last night.. and now, I WANT!! haha
