one extreme or the other

Quote  |  Reply
I find that I alternate between either eating whatever I want and not caring and not exercising at all... to deciding that I'm going to get serious about losing the 15 or so pounds that I need (which I have gained over the summer) and then get obsessive about it and start exercising a ton and really watching what I eat almost to the point of undereating.

I don't know why I can't just find a happy medium where I exercise but still eat some of the foods that I would eat when I was in my didn't care phase...

Because now I am eating really healthy and couldn't even imagine eating anything that I used to eat even just 2 weeks ago when I would eat whatever. And this pattern has happened before. I think if I could just find a balance and not be in one of the extremes then I would be able to stick with it but it never happens...

Does anyone else do this?????

I have started to until 2 days ago when I reached 119 pounds after being 113 in the beggning of summer.  Usually if I would reach this weight I would literally not eat all day anyhting except for a yogurt and lose 4 pounds, but this time Im eating 1,500 calories a day with 1 hour excercise everyday.  I figured it's annoying always feeling down so this time I will lose in a way that won't cause me to attack everyone.  I mean I can always get rid of this weight so no reason to be depressed about it.

Just take it slow and try running/Jogging everyday for an hour or at least 6 times a week-- it's fun really and delays hunger.  Also you actually feel stomache muscles forming I even lost an inch off my waist.
