What is one food you didn't cut out when dieting?
Well, we all know what we cut out when we dieted. How about the one food we just couldn't?
For me it was Chile flavored Ramen Noodles which would be my breakfast (i worked nights so i ate lunch at 7pm).

swiss cheese, although i switched to low fat, its no good, but it kinda satisfies the craving. haha
McDonald's French fries. I know, I know, I really should stop eating them, but I only crave them when I'm not completely sober!
i don't think i really cut out anything. i made an effort to cut out sweets (which sometimes kicked me in the ass in a weak moment late at night). i refuse to cut out red wine if that counts.

I'm not cutting out anything..I'm just eating whatever I want, in moderate portion sizes, with a focus on nutritional health.
PEANUT BUTTER. I also don't restrict carbs at ALL. I live off veggies, fruit and bread. hehe. For me, it's mostly just not eating bad stuff and controlling my portions. everything in morederation, right?
Nutella. Nutella is too yummy to exclude. It may be high in calories but it's easy to deal with the few extra calories.
There's lots of foods I haven't cut out, but the one I know I should and I've had very little success on is Diet Soda. I know I don't want to be sucking down the chemical garbage, but I can't QUITE give it up. Working on it.
Coffee-mate French Vanilla Creamer. I know I could use a much lower calorie substitute but I love my yummy morning cup of coffee.
The booze. I don't restrict when it comes to partying.
For instance, I never drink regular soda, except for if I'm having a rum and coke. (I've tried it with diet coke; doesn't work.)

Peanut butter! I always found (find!) a way to work it in without going over. It means I can't have that piece of chocolate cake at dinner, but I'm okay with that. :)
Rice. I'm a sucker for Japanese food and brown rice just doesn't cut it in sushi and onigiri. The texture is funny.
I'm vegetarian so I end up with a slightly higher carb % though anyway.

Cream and sugar in my morning coffee, I starting measuring it though, so I know how many calories.
I haven't cut out diet pop yet. But I have cut my portion size down to about a can a day. I just like my diet coke or diet pepsi too much! I'd like to cut it out and I've tried, but it's just too hard...maybe one day!
There are a lot of foods I haven't given up, but I no longer eat them everyday.
The one food I didn't give up that I eat most often would probably be bagels. I can't help it. When I see a fresh baked bagel all crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mmmmm......

I haven't really cut out anything; just replaced stuff, like white carbs with whole grains, processed foods with whole foods, etc. Stuff I should be doing even if I wasn't trying to lose some weight. I've cut down on my drinking though, which I suppose is good for a myriad of reasons. I'm a weekend warrior only now :)
I haven't cut out anything completely. That's why this has worked so well for me. I can eat anything that I want, I just don't eat as much of things that are high in calories. Nor do I eat things like that as often anymore. Portion control is what works the best for me.
(Because this isn't a 'diet', this is a lifestyle change)

Arroz con pollo. I don't eat it often, maybe once a month. I tried eating the substitution, but it tastes completely different and isn't worth the calories I get from it. I need my cheese. So, I decided that I wasn't going to deny myself. And boy, am I glad! It doesn't seem to have affected my weight loss any.
For those of you who can't quit the diet soda habit.
I used to be a sodaholic. In high school I could drink a six-pack of Coke in one day or three cans of coke in one sitting. Especially if it was so cold that ice crystals had started to form inside the can. Oh, that was my favorite way to drink a Coke.
I tried many times to quit, but as soon as my lips would touch that sweet, tingly magic, my habit would creep back up.
I always envied those people who could go to a restaurant and just drink water or unsweetened iced tea. I wondered where that self-control came from.
Finally, I decided I was going to kick the habit for good. I decided to use diet soda to wean myself off the regular stuff. I began drinking about six or seven diet sodas every day. Then I started noticing how I felt after I drank a diet soda. My stomach would burn, I couldn't stop belching, and my food would want to come up. That's when I stopped drinking diet soda.
I am now one of those people that drinks water w/lemon or unsweetened iced tea at restaurants. I tried drinking a Coke once since I quit in December and I got very sick to my stomach. Stay away from it people. You'll feel a LOT better. I promise.

I still have to have a coke, but I've cut it down to the shorty cans (100 cals). I have to allot for it elsewhere, but it's my caffeine pick me up.
Why not get your caffeine from Green Tea? Much better for ya and Sobe/Lipton both make great tasting diet versions... Or you can brew your own with Splenda...
I don't really think there's anything I couldn't live without... I don't really consider Peanut Butter a bad food... I eat Naturally More peanut butter... Tastes about the same as Jiff and is MUCH healthier for ya but is a lil more expensive and harder to spread..
