One good habit
Weighed myself yesterday and I was down from 217 to 203 since February 16th. I am pretty happy with those results and hope I can keep this pace going til I hit 165.
Starting Weight (SW) = 217
Current Weight (CW) = 203
Goal Weight (GW) = 165
I plan to hit my goal by September 09, but I wonder if I will start slowing down as I get into the 180s and maybe not hit my goal by the time I have set.
I am definitely enjoying the way I feel now eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking 10x more water. I am exploring different ways of preparing foods.
I also recently finished reading a pretty good book called Water with Lemon. I definitely recommend it as a good read that helps you think about what we eat and how we can make it better. It talks about the power of 1 good habit and I believe that is really all I have been doing is starting 1 good habit at a time and then adding on another until eventually I will not only look good but live a longer and healthier life.
the habits I have adopted so far:
-Exercising 5-6 days a week in the gym (Elliptical and strength training)
-I went from almost no water a day to 40 ounces til now I am up to around 80 ounces of water a day. I do drink my water with lemon mostly to give it flavor plus a doctor told me that lemon helps you break down your food better.
-Eating lower in calories and watching my fat consumption.
-I cut soda from 2-5 a day down to 2 a week.
