one 30 min sess vs. smallerones

I was wondering what is more effective. doing one 30 minute session of running/biking/cardio or doing 10-15 minutes of biking/running/cardio machines.

 

any thoughts? Thanks

if it's purely cardio, and you don't care about muscle maintenance then one big session is best
