One-A-Day pills
Has anyone ever taken (or are taking) the Weight Control One-A-Day pills? I picked some up a few days ago and I got to thinking....will they actually help? I've never been one to take pills to help in weight loss (none of that Ephedra for me!) so I was a little reluctant to take them.
Any input will be greatly appreciated!

I take the women's one-a-day. Haven't tried the weight one, but I am curious about it!! Let me know what you find out. :-)
I take it - it's hard to say if it helps in weight loss - most likely it doesn't do much for that - but green tea is an excellent antioxidant none the less - it doens't hurt!!
I take the ones with extra b-vitamins, but i have researched the weight control ones a little. i think they are a little different in that they have chromium and green tea, both of which will help to reduce hunger. i'd say just to try it and see.
I am taking a generic equivalent to the One-A-Day "Weight Smart" pills, or whatever they're called. I knew I needed a multi-vitamin, and since I was trying to lose weight, I figured I may as well go with the weight smart ones, since they didn't contain ephedra or any other harmful ingredients.
Do they actually make me lose more weight than I would if I weren't taking them? I don't think so, as I do forget to take a pill every now and then and don't notice much difference. One of the ingredients in the vitamins is EGCG (green tea extract.) Here is an article with a little bit of scientific info (scroll about halfway down the page for the info on EGCG) that states that under certain variables, research has shown that EGCG can help with weight by acting as a fat burner.
So whether or not the vitamins actually stimulate weight loss or simply make other weight loss efforts easier, they don't appear to be harmful. And as others have said, there are so many proven benefits of green tea that it definitely can't hurt to take it, anyway.

I'm with everyone else - it's hard to know if they do/don't help! I take One-A-Day Weight Smart for men and I haven't noticed anything significant. EGCG can't hurt, I guess. Mainly taking a vitamin was my focus!

Thanks all!
I'm not sure at what point I'm supposed to see a difference, if any at all, but I'll keep you all posted.
