im reposting this hoping to get an answer.
im sick and have no means to exercise cuz im out of it. and i hate about 670 calories today. i have a limit of 1200 to lose weight.
i already had a 400 calorie dinner..about an hour or two ago...but im a little hungry again. and i havnt really had an apetite much
should i maybe have a waffle (70 cal) syrup (10-20cal) orr two..which would b 140 cal waffles..and then 10-20 for the light syrup?
or just wait til tomorrow?

Eat when you're hungry hon. Think BRAT: Bananas rice applesauce and toast
Juice, water and tea !!!!

Chicken soup...our house is always stocked with Healthy Choice chicken noodle or rice soup, 100 cal per seving or 200 for the whole can. You get just what you need when you're ill, fat, protein, carbs, and some salt. Hope you feel better soon!
The whole diet aspect changes when your are sick. Just eat what makes you feel better and don't count calories. Lots of fluids
Hi, no-one likes feeling poorly so take care of yourself; snuggle up with a warm blanket, plenty of fluids, try eating just wholegrain bread (energy will be long lasting) or as everyone else has suggested, soup. Another good thing to try are oat cakes, maybe with a little hummus if you can manage it. Very healthy and energy giving. Plain boiled rice is also a good one as it doesn't take much to give you energy, but you don't feel full. Good luck!
Agreed, the strict diet goes out the window when you're sick. Focus on getting better first--not counting calories.
