I only ate 1250 calories today but I am stuffed!
Yes. I like GORGED myself on food. You wouldn't believe what I ate for that few calories but it involved a giant wrap, a HUGE smoothie, cereal, hummus on bread, a grilled chicken sandwich, and green tea. GOODNESS. Oh, and a chocolate chip cookie. And I know my math is right - it really was only 1250 calories. The thing is, I walked for an hour today - this puts me under 1200 for the day... I just can't think of eating another bite right now, and it's been 4 1/2 hours since dinner!!! Should I just forget about it or should I have something else?
Do what your body tells you to. If you're not hungry, you don't necessarily need to eat, especially if you're aiming for a ~1500 calorie day or something. There will be days where your body just doesn't need as much, and days where it needs more. Don't worry about it.
That's awesome. What did you have in your wrap? Are you using light bread? If I ate all that it seems my calories would go over. I must be using the wrong products?
hey i've totally done that before, and would recommend not doing what your body tells you because our bodies have yet to adapt to civilized life in general.
Yes you can argue if you think nature knows better, but reality says no, we are aware of what we do, and if you think that you shouldn't eat anymore, than don't eat anymore. It's your choice, i can't persuade you, but i can tell you that we need to drop the "listen to your body" stuff, especially when it DOESN'T work. Think of it this way, we are all basically animals and it takes time for our bodies to evolve to the way we are living now, it's only been a 100 years or so that we have been living in more densly populated ways and yes.
Eh, srry if i was on the attack = /, people just need to be aware of all the factors that contribute. and for your question, i'd say forget about because being human, we are more likely to make it up the next day, plus what are going to use that energy u eat for, it will just get stored, theres no point at all, logically speaking.

It was wuvely. See, we have this place on campus that makes low cal smoothies and so the enormous 21 oz. smoothie I had was only 89 cals, and the wrap was just a basic whole wheat wrap with three pieces of deli turkey and veggies. I dipped it in some light ranch dressing. The hummus was 70 cals and the bread was 75 (4 slices of Wegmans vive la baguette bread in the presliced package), while the grilled chicken sandwich was 280. The worst thing I had all day was that cookie, but it was worth it... it was my last homemade chocolate chip cookie and I enjoyed it immensely.
Actually, it was funny. I spontaneously got RAVENOUS about an hour and a half after posting this. I opted for a peanut peanut butter Kashi bar. <3
