Only burning 1630 calories a day? Really?
So, my burn meter says that I only burn about 1630 calories a day. I put in sedentary and I add the exercise that i do. This just seems so low to me. I am 5'6" and 130lbs. Any ideas on this? And how much should I be consuming? I am not able to exercise every day and I feel like with a calorie burn so low it is going to take me FOREVER to lose some weight!
it's an estimate. wait and see.
Unlikely... Unless you're completely bedridden reset your activity level to 'light'. That covers normal movement during the day, occasional exercise and is much more realistic for most people than 'sedentary'. You'll find your total burn is about 2000 or so.
130lbs and 5'6" give you a BMI of 21, which makes you very slim already. Given that you don't need to lose weight you may find you get better results by improving your diet (a 'cleaner' diet perhaps) and doing some exercise. A toned, well-nourished body looks a lot slimmer.
