Am I The Only One?

Quote  |  Reply

Four Years ago I was a small 120 lbs, then I got pregnant with my first daughter. The pregnancy went great and I had only gained 1 lb, but at 6 months I was put on strict bed rest and given two steroid shots.  when I delivered I was 181 lbs. Then unexpantly I got pregnant again 4 months later! in that four months I got down to 148! But by the time my second daughter was born I was 182 lbs. And again unexpectantly (while on birth control!!!!) I got pregnant with my son. I started out at 150 then got to 192! So now he is 5 months old & I weigh 162. I am trying so hard to shed all my baby weight but with three young kids its hard & I am working on it, even though it seems outta reach! AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT GAINES SO MUCH WEIGHT WHILE PREGNANT??? Its not like I am un healthy while pregnant & eat anything I see.  Every woman that I see that just had a baby doesnt even look like she gained any weight!

I had my first child 10 years ago and only gained 33lbs, but took almost 2 years to lose it all. Now I just had another child last May and gained 70lbs!!! while pregnant. I nursed him and all my friends who had kids in May lost all their weight in months.

Not me, I'm still holding onto 36lbs of it and am just not happy with it. I know how you feel though, I watched so many friends lose the weight so easily and now 17 months later I still can't fit into my clothes.

I've been CC'ing for a week and a half now though and have lost 2lbs. I'm just eating better and being more active whenever I can. Good luck!

I gained a ton of wait but now im so determined to get it off. my "baby" is now 5 and im still carrying on the 35 pounds that wont leave. I'm gonna make it leave thoLaughing
